11/09/2026: A must-try during our stays in Cape Town: always a warm welcome, original and delicious homemade infused rums, a top-notch sausage rougail, and a special mention for the excellent shark curry! We love the tapas to share for a convivial and gourmet evening.

03/09/2026: Top-notch restaurant, right on the harbor, quiet, inexpensive, delicious, and generous portions! The sausage rougail is excellent and filling, and the appetizers like spring rolls, bouchons, and samosas are super fresh. The extra touch is the excellent selection of cocktails, both virgin and non-virgin.

10/10/2026: A very disappointing experience at Curry Villa! I ordered a Veg Thali (around €18) and a Vada Pav. The Vada Pav was completely burnt! Honestly, I don't understand how they can serve a dish in that state. The Veg Thali wasn't worth €18 either. The dal/curry was extremely bland, almost without salt, spices, or any real flavor. Is it really supposed to taste like that? It was my first North Indian thali. I've tried several South Indian thalis and loved them. So I'm not going to judge all of North Indian cuisine based on this one experience, especially since my Indian friends told me I simply hadn't yet tasted a good North Indian thali. I wanted to try Curry Villa after seeing a girl on Instagram promoting this restaurant in Paris. I don't know if it was an advertisement or a personal opinion, but frankly, it's not worth the price or all the hype! For €18, you can certainly find much tastier food elsewhere. I don't even know if I should ask for a refund. So I'll let Curry Villa decide if they want to offer me one. If they do, I'll update my review. I'm simply sharing my honest experience because customers deserve to know what they're buying. Truly disappointing!

08/10/2026: I left a less than favorable review. I have no complaints about the food or the service. We had received a gift certificate for Christmas, but then I had to take care of my father, who was hospitalized and passed away in April. So I wasn't able to use my gift certificate. I called at the beginning of October—it's true, it took a while—but they refused to accept my request to use it, which I find unfortunate, both for the people who had spent money on it and for those who had already paid for it. I think a little compassion would be appreciated. Instead of telling us that being an accountant isn't possible, I, as a business owner, know perfectly well that it's possible. It's a shame, it was a place I liked, but the lack of humanity is a real pity.

28/06/2026: A huge congratulations! After being turned away from several restaurants in Nérac that were far from full, what a relief to stumble upon this place! We were a group of eight, arrived at 1:30 pm, and were greeted with exceptional kindness. The owner managed both the dining room and the kitchen single-handedly, and everything was perfectly organized. The cuisine is refined, and the prices are very reasonable. Finally, a restaurateur who truly deserves recognition for his professionalism and hospitality. I highly recommend it!
