30/12/2025: Now that's a truly warm welcome! A cozy and inviting spot on this freezing December 30th, 2025. Two very decent glasses of wine and a generous, unpretentious, and satisfying mixed platter. We'll gladly be back!

29/12/2025: We only had drinks on the first evening, but the warm welcome we received prompted us to eat there the following evening. Excellent service and good food. We'd love to come back.

06/04/2026: Delighted!!! So happy to rediscover the spirit of Le Bougnat, which had been missing for a good ten years. We've found the same atmosphere, Isabelle's smile (she's the owner now, having been a waitress here 20 years ago), the warm welcome, the quality of the food… We had stopped going, but we're so glad to be back and will definitely return. If you want to eat well, this is the place to come 😉

30/04/2026: Passing through for the kite festival, we stopped at this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The charcuterie platter and mussels were delicious, nothing to complain about, I highly recommend it.

29/04/2026: We had reserved a table in advance of our arrival, and I had mentioned that we would be with children. I said that if we could eat inside, that would be fine, and outside only if it was sunny. Upon arrival, our table was outside, with no sun and completely exposed to the wind. We asked to be moved inside, but the waiter refused, even though there was space inside. He told us to think about it for two minutes if we wanted to stay and then stood next to us, waiting with a haughty air. Disappointing.

30/04/2026: Excellent restaurant in a medieval atmosphere. The flambéed beef skewer with Cognac, served with Géromette, was deliciously spectacular.

30/04/2026: Everything was excellent: the service, the atmosphere, and the food. A great place to eat a variety of excellent traditional dishes, from appetizers to dessert.

17/04/2026: Had a delicious meal on a quiet little square. I had a fish dish accompanied by many beautifully prepared vegetables, to my delight. Wonderful wines and a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the lovely time on your terrace!

31/03/2026: The restaurant was a bit cramped, but the waitress was professional and very friendly. It's a shame the owner confused prawns and shrimp with the five ravioli! The piece of meat was somewhat tough; we had to ask for a sharper knife!

24/04/2026: Standard menu and reasonable prices. The staff don’t speak English. Mixed-gender restrooms. Very dirty and poorly maintained.

11/04/2026: The main courses and appetizers were good, but the quality of the desserts has declined, including a sundae with two scoops of ice cream that were already half melted. The service was very slow, about two hours, even though there were only three of us and it wasn't busy. A smile from one of the waitresses seemed to be optional. Overall, disappointed, especially considering the high prices.

06/04/2026: I chose this restaurant hoping to enjoy Chinese cuisine after spending several weeks in China: the experience was disappointing, especially with the €118 per person set menu. There weren't many Chinese dishes on the menu, and what was offered was rather bland and lacking in flavor (except for the pork dumpling). The service was decent and friendly, although the waiter tapped the back of my chair two or three times without apologizing or even noticing.

04/04/2026: Had such a fantastic meal here. There is such a flavour explosion in every single dish. Many of the dishes felt unique. They gave you many amuse-bouches on the house to start the meal which were all delicious. These plus the appetizers were the stars of the show. Staff are super nice but there was a 40 min gap in the service at one point which was unfortunate. Otherwise the pacing was great. Food can’t be faulted though, was a special meal. Would come back again and again.
