31/08/2026: A family-run restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The food is delicious and entirely homemade, from appetizer to dessert, and you can really taste the difference. Everything was flavorful and prepared with care. The staff is lovely, very kind, and truly attentive throughout the meal. And to top it all off, the restaurant offers a beautiful view, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back 😊

25/08/2026: Classic Cojean. Nothing changes, this is my tenth Google review of the chain (it would be nice to see some variety). Clean, calm, quality, although a bit pricey. But the service is top-notch and fast (shout-out to the saleswoman with the colored hair).

06/08/2026: What a true pleasure it was to discover this "café-restaurant" in the village of Grillon (84). A real village restaurant. Family-run, friendly, welcoming... nothing but good qualities. How could anyone not fall under the spell of this establishment? Not Michelin-starred, not stuffy. Not "pretentious." And as for the food, it's truly very fresh, cooked to order. Everything is produced within a 20km radius. For example, the melons that were intended for the starters arrived 10 minutes before the evening service. Frankly, those who pass through Grillon without stopping at "La Truffe Noire" won't be going to heaven...lol

16/08/2026: Excellent food. Homemade. Top-quality local produce. Really good! And the price of the daily menu is very reasonable. The two waitresses were lovely. We'll be back! Very pleasant little terrace.

14/08/2026: A warm welcome awaits you on the pleasant little terrace at the back of the building. Absolutely excellent from aperitif to dessert. The menu is regularly updated with seasonal products. Our 8-year-old loved the quality of the children's menu. My only regret is the lack of a set menu for dinner and perhaps a wine pairing option. A very good family experience; we will be back.

09/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, what a lovely surprise! We had an excellent meal. The owners are delightful and very welcoming. We were seated on the terrace with our baby and dog, enjoying the sound of cicadas. I highly recommend it. The ingredients are fresh and homemade as much as possible. Thank you again for this wonderful break before continuing our road trip.

18/08/2026: We ordered several pizzas to go. The crust was good, however, there was very little topping. The seafood pizza literally had one mussel and three pieces of calamari that looked like they were fighting. The others were the same, very sparsely topped.

17/08/2026: Excellent pizzeria! The terrace (small) is very charming. Large, air-conditioned dining room. Service, selection, price... nothing to complain about.

04/08/2026: Solid place to eat, overall the food was pretty darn good. The server did forget 2 of the things we ordered so those came after the main food was delivered but other than that it was a nice meal.

29/07/2026: Not wanting to go straight home on a weeknight, we passed La Bouteille on the way home and thought, "Why not!"... And we certainly weren't disappointed. We had a delicious meal and the staff was lovely! The chef even agreed to explain how to cook fennel, which I think is very generous of him to share his tips! They truly deserve to work hard and stay in business for a long time! I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: We had such a delicious meal here! You arrive on a slightly uninviting street, but they have a nice little courtyard and a cozy dining area inside. The menu has an average of 4 options per course, and every dish we had was delicious!! I think the chef can make exactly what is on the menu perfectly. The service was super, very friendly. She took the time to help us in French but also spoke good English if we couldn't quite follow. Highly recommended!!
