13/04/2026: We come from time to time and are never disappointed! The atmosphere is refined and chic, and the staff is pleasant and professional. On sunny days, the restaurant offers a lovely hidden terrace in the inner courtyard. An Italian menu just the way we like it, accompanied by a fine selection of wines that pair perfectly with the delicious cuisine. A wonderful place in old Périgueux, a stone's throw from the basilica.

It's nothing like an impersonal chain: The owners are attentive, passionate, and always ready to ensure everything runs smoothly. The dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The daily specials on the chalkboard change according to what's available, and everything is expertly prepared, from the tagliatelle with scallops to the eggplant parmigiana. Special mention goes to the homemade desserts: the tiramisu is simply divine, and the cannoli are excellent. The atmosphere is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and you're guaranteed a pleasant evening every time. An old-fashioned restaurant just the way we like them—authentic and generous. We enjoyed, among other things, the "Chef's Delight" tagliatelle, a dish of tagliatelle with scallops, an amarena sundae, and a homemade tart: everything was perfect. → In short: an excellent Italian restaurant, warm, friendly, and delicious. A place to recommend without hesitation!

15/04/2026: A friend and I had lunch there and we had a lovely time. The real highlight of the establishment is the welcome. The owners are remarkably kind and greet every customer with a big smile. You immediately feel at ease. The value for money is unbeatable. For €17, the set menu includes the starter buffet, the main course buffet, dessert and cheese, as well as a glass of wine and coffee. It's increasingly rare to find such an offer. The atmosphere is a successful blend of a family ambiance and a clientele of regulars and local businesses. It's lively, friendly, and therefore inevitably a bit noisy. The inn is located on the roadside with a very large parking lot right in front, making access extremely easy. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the cooking of the main course (the meat stir-fry was slightly undercooked that day), which contrasted with the quality of the starters and desserts. However, the owners' friendliness quickly makes you forget this minor detail. We will gladly return for the warm welcome and positive energy of the place 😊

We also really appreciate the atmosphere of the Petit Maroc neighborhood. We especially loved the cheesecake! A real treat every time we visit 😊

05/04/2026: A very good restaurant. I've been a regular for many years and often get takeout. The quality is excellent and consistent. Just a word of caution about the calamari salad: I barely had any dressing last time (perhaps they forgot). A very good place to eat.

The atmosphere is that of a small village bar/restaurant, frequented by regulars and friends of the owner, who is warm and welcoming. Reasonable prices: all dishes are €14, and desserts are €4.80.
