I should add that it started raining during dinner (we were outside), and the staff quickly made sure the dinner continued without a hitch, still outside. Excellent! Tip: Make sure to book by email or phone; seating is limited.

11/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped at this restaurant and it was a wonderful discovery. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was excellent! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and reflects the management's high standards. A big thank you to the chef, whose skill and passion shine through in every dish. We highly recommend this restaurant!

28/08/2026: Very disappointed! The first set menu at €45 offered no choice of dishes (primarily meat-based). The only option was an extra course consisting of three tiny bites of lobster. As for dessert, we thought it was an amuse-bouche: a scoop of raspberry ice cream on a base of panna cotta.

16/08/2026: My partner introduced me to this place in the heart of St Jean de Marsacq. A simple menu, a short chalkboard of suggestions, and a lovely wine list featuring local wines. Between the roasted Camembert with new potatoes and the pork prima, a delightful burst of freshness. For dessert, roasted apricots with a scoop of rosemary sorbet, and a chocolate fondant with a scoop of Bailey's ice cream... how can I even begin to describe how excellent lunch was? 👌👍 Truly. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. All accompanied by a glass of fruity Jurançon wine. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. 06/09/2026: I ordered the poutine without extras, and it wasn't necessarily the best poutine I've ever had. I tried another poutine in Lorient before today at a different restaurant, and it was only slightly more expensive and much more satisfying. If you like meat, order the meat supplement; otherwise, it feels like you're just eating fries with a sauce that tastes like bouillon cubes, and the cheese is bland and tasteless. The fries were overcooked and a bit tough. You're better off driving a little further to the one in Lorient and enjoying it. However, the service was friendly.

06/09/2026: A small update since the change of ownership: the foundation remains solid, and I've noticed a significant improvement in the fries (really excellent). Feel free to add a touch more seasoning to your meat (I'll ask next time if needed). I recommend it; it's still a must-try in Quimperlé.
