It's not always easy to find the right time to eat there, or even to see the menu online.
The restaurant's ambiance is simple and elegant. But at Mei, I don't want to talk about any of that. The most important thing is what's on the plate. It's simple, and the focus is on the flavor.
I highly recommend it.

The starters and main courses, suitable for vegetarians like myself as well as meat lovers, were beautifully presented! The desserts delighted those with a sweet tooth, whether chocolate, fruit, or ice cream. I highly recommend this restaurant in Clairac, which showcases excellent local products (prunes, foie gras, etc.)!

02/10/2026: Frozen, industrially produced spit-roasted meat; the amount of salt caused a burning sensation on the palate. It's a shame. Hygiene-wise, it's questionable. I have no doubt it must be very profitable.
03/09/2026: I've noticed they're putting a lot less meat in the sandwiches; some of my friends have made the same observation.
I know them personally, though; we grew up together in the same neighborhood, and I've been going to the restaurant since it opened.
It hurts me that they've come to this!

The staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Finally, the food had real flavor.
We're in a 4-star establishment in Barjac where the food frankly leaves much to be desired.
We highly recommend it.

One slight drawback: the noise from the level crossing with the large vehicles. With the gate closed, it's perfect 💕
