30/08/2026: We had dinner tonight with my friends, and the food was generally good. The only exception was the Thai salad with medium-rare beef, where we found a maggot. We pointed it out to the waitress, who assured us she had informed the chef and that a gesture of goodwill would be made (meaning she wouldn't charge us for the dish). Unfortunately, when we got to the till, this gesture wasn't honored, which is a real shame because otherwise, I have no complaints. The service was very good, and the food was generally tasty.

09/09/2026: I had a wonderful time at this charming bistro. I started with a delicious foie gras terrine, followed by veal tenderloin with virgin sauce, accompanied by soufflé potatoes and a pasta gratin. I also enjoyed a glass of exceptional Cairanne AOC red wine from Domaine Richaud and finished the meal with the homemade blackcurrant ice cream sundae, known as the "winemaker's sundae." The service was remarkably friendly and of high quality, with detailed explanations of the dishes and a judicious wine selection. This establishment is a true institution dedicated to French gastronomy. Bravo!

08/09/2026: Very good authentic (I believe) Lyonnaise bouchon. All the other branches are closed on a Monday evening so we managed to get a table at the main restaurant even though it was a good distance away from where we were staying. It was well worth the trip. The starter was very simple but tasty, the main course and deserts however were absolutely delicious. Good quality fair, cooked well, not over fancy and a good portion size, I personally hate tiny or really over large portions and this was spot on. Pricing was very reasonable and I would highly recommend this to someone that is realistic about good local flavours cooked authentically. Visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

23/08/2026: The burgers were a little sour and the patty was really thin, so we were a bit surprised. But otherwise, it was very good: the burger was juicy and tender. The place is very pleasant, with a warm atmosphere and decor. The fact that the restaurant is open until late at night makes it even more enjoyable. The service was polite and welcoming. 27/08/2026: I bought pork spring rolls and shrimp fritters. Knowing this caterer before, I was horribly disappointed by the quality. The spring rolls were burnt and dried out, and the shrimp fritters were of mediocre, supermarket-quality. I didn't enjoy them and I don't plan on going back. Customers aren't fooled!

06/09/2026: Grandfather's birthday meal. A wonderful discovery! Impeccable service and cuisine (a minor point: the white truffle pasta could have used a little more seasoning). Beautifully presented dishes, a feast for the eyes and the palate! We had a lovely time, which moved Grandfather to tears.

06/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, located in a charming setting on the banks of the Loire. Warm service. We thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly cooked rib-eye steaks. Calm atmosphere. We will definitely return.

23/08/2026: We came for lunch today. The setting was relaxing, and we received a very warm welcome. The meal was perfect from start to finish, especially the beef fillet, which was a real treat with its side dish... A very good place. I highly recommend it.

17/08/2026: This family-run restaurant is staffed by incredibly welcoming people who even accept dogs. The food is excellent, the dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. There's a bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place.

24/06/2026: 5 stars because we can't give more. Passing through Le Mans for an overnight stop, for those who enjoy exotic flavors or simply excellent fresh cuisine from the region. However, we were very lucky to be seated without a reservation. Update 24/06/26: 3 years later, nothing has changed, still as good, still the same warm welcome. Still as popular as ever, well done, keep it up! Highly recommended +++
