17/10/2026: Chez Bébelle in Narbonne: A True French Pride Sometimes, all it takes is walking through the door of a restaurant to remember what true French commerce means: character, generosity, authenticity, and a genuine sense of hospitality. While passing through Narbonne, I had two restaurants in mind, both discovered through television programs: Les Grands Buffets and Chez Bébelle. My verdict, as a restaurateur: a huge disappointment on one hand, a true revelation on the other. Chez Bébelle is simply extraordinary. A concept with soul, a strong identity, a unique atmosphere, and above all, an owner, Bébelle, who perfectly embodies what a true merchant is. A man who understands that the restaurant business isn't just about serving plates of food; it's about creating an experience, sharing a passion, and making people want to come back. Special mention to the waitresses, who were absolutely fabulous: professional, smiling, efficient, and remarkably kind. They contribute fully to the success of this establishment. A huge thank you to Brittany for her smile, her kindness, and her great professionalism. She greatly contributed to making this experience even more enjoyable. When you discover establishments like this, you feel proud to be French. Proud to see that there are still entrepreneurs who dare, who create, who have character, and who keep our gastronomic heritage and our art of hospitality alive. Well done, Bébelle, well done to your entire team. As a restaurateur, I know the work, energy, and passion it takes. You've got it all figured out: business, conviviality, and the pleasure of hosting. At Chez Bébelle, it's not just a meal, it's an experience. And that's priceless. 17/10/2026: We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation, and we weren't disappointed! Everything was excellent from start to finish! Very good value for money and very pleasant and professional staff. We highly recommend it!

20/10/2026: What a fantastic location. Excellent service, cuisine, and atmosphere. Father and youngest son work in the kitchen. The other two sons handle the service, and the mother pitches in where needed. It changed hands in May 2026. Delicious food, good wine list. Everything is affordable. Definitely a restaurant to visit and return to.

06/10/2026: No complaints about the food. For a weekday lunch, avoid the 12-1 pm time slot. While it's understandable that workers' lunches are a priority, it's a shame to be overlooked. There's no set menu, just a "worker's" menu, which wasn't offered to us. Check your bill, as it may contain some serious errors.

29/08/2026: Absolutely delicious! The saucy dishes are particularly excellent and very flavorful. However, it's a shame the portions are so large, as this can lead to a lot of waste. The wait time is also quite long, which is a bit of a drawback. Despite these negative points, the quality of the food is still excellent, and we had a great time.

21/09/2026: Disappointment, despite the lovely setting… The drinks were fine. However, we were truly disappointed with the food. It felt like "cafeteria food": bland, tasteless, and lacking in flavor. The meat was swimming in oil, and the fries were sorely lacking in crispness. To top it all off, we both got sick the night after the meal, which unfortunately only confirmed our disappointment. It's all the more unfortunate because the staff, on the other hand, were welcoming, smiling, and attentive.

04/09/2026: A definite recommendation! The menu changes frequently, but that's what makes it so great, and all the dishes are incredibly fresh. From squid salad to lobster and duck, right through to the excellent desserts, we were thoroughly satisfied with everything. Authentic and offering fantastic value for money, which pleasantly surprised us. The wine selection was also surprisingly good and perfectly paired. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back to enjoy this authentic and excellent French cuisine.

20/10/2026: A huge thank you to Julien and his colleague for making our birthday evening so wonderful! They took excellent care of us. There were about twenty of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the warm atmosphere, the service, the delicious wines, and the platters, terrines, and more. Julien was always available beforehand to answer my questions and help organize this surprise party. We'll definitely be back!

30/10/2026: An address that never disappoints! At Café La Maison, the welcome is always warm and the quality remains consistently high, visit after visit. Special mention to Martin for his kindness and attentiveness, as well as to Guillaume, the owner, for his friendliness and his constant dedication to doing things well. You feel right at home, the food is delicious, and you'll gladly return (the flank steak is my absolute favorite!!!). A truly reliable choice!
