14/05/2026: My mother and I spent Tuesday evening there. We had a wonderful time; the meal was fantastic and absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Assa, made the experience even more enjoyable and welcoming. We would like to thank her, as well as the head chef, with whom we spoke at the end of our meal. Thank you for everything and for the lovely time we had! We highly recommend this place and this restaurant.

17/05/2026: Great pub, with awesome atmosphere. Felt almost too much like home, the staff was American like the food. We stopped in for a quick drink and some snacks then it started to rain and decided to have more drinks.

We drank beers during Happy Hour, and the large house lagers cost €4.50 (until 8:30 PM, but I don't know if they're available every day). The sandwiches were good: we had a classic one and one with various sauces, and both came with chips and salsa. Recommendation❣️

26/06/2026: The bartenders are super friendly, the place is right next to the main roads but quiet, €1.30 for a coffee at the bar, €6 for a pint of Loburg from 6pm to midnight. What more could you ask for?

14/05/2026: Searched the town for a lunch venue, but most were serving 3 course set meals (on a public holiday). Had a very nice galette in here (choice of 8). Quick and friendly service.

It was very pleasant, the service was excellent and attentive, and the meal was delicious—absolutely fantastic, nothing to complain about. Plus, it was our first time at a restaurant, and I chose this one. We weren't disappointed; everything was fresh, the meat was incredibly tender and delicious—truly homemade. We loved it! Thank you to all the staff; we'll be back! 💕💕💕 The only downside was the cars speeding by, which was a bit scary, and the manhole cover that made a lot of noise on the road when cars went by. Otherwise, no other problems.

28/06/2026: We came to the Auberge du Zoo for lunch on Sunday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were asked if we would like to eat on the terrace or inside. Given the extreme heatwave warning and temperatures nearing 40°C outside, we naturally chose the indoor dining room. Unfortunately, it was neither air-conditioned nor equipped with fans. It was around 36°C inside, and we felt stifled throughout the meal. We asked if it would be possible to have a fan, but received no response from the waiter. However, a few moments later, another table was given a fan, which we found regrettable. We would also like to point out that the waiters were doing their best despite the very difficult working conditions. They were drenched in sweat, their shirts completely soaked. We felt very sorry for them and wondered how they managed to work in such heat. It's a real shame, because this unbearable heat completely ruined what should have been a pleasant meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

27/06/2026: The restaurant is excellent: the food is very good, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, our experience at the upstairs bar was very disappointing. The bartender was arrogant and unpleasant, which really spoiled the experience. Furthermore, the cocktails we ordered were not up to par and very expensive! It's a shame, as this contrasts sharply with the quality of the restaurant.

05/06/2026: I stopped by on a whim, drawn in by a tempting set menu (starter, main course, dessert) at a reasonable price, and… I was in heaven! The dishes were exquisite (yum, the chilled carrot and mustard soup starter…) and the service was attentive. The atmosphere isn't boisterous (despite the name), but it's delicious and creative. Understated and calm. Perfect for one person, two, three, or four… if you want to be able to hear each other and have a conversation. It's also surprisingly light, a world away from the repetitive, pork-laden bistros that even the most discerning foodie eventually tires of.
