28/07/2026: I almost hesitate to leave a review so this place can remain (more or less) a secret, but they deserve it. The staff is exceptionally kind and efficient, the food is delicious and generous, and there's a wide variety of meat options for your banh mi, all for €10.50 (as a set menu)!!!! A restaurant that leaves you wanting to say "see you soon."

31/08/2026: Great service and a very delicious steak plate. The chef is a real master. I highly recommend the wagyu steaks (on the right). The wine was great, so were the starters. As an area of improvement: I would think about enhancing the beer menu - like adding a good IPA.

22/08/2026: A lovely terrace in a great square. A super friendly and welcoming owner, and perfect pizzas. However, we were served by a young woman who clearly wasn't motivated by her job, which is a shame. But honestly, I recommend it because one person's opinion doesn't reflect the quality of an establishment.

02/07/2026: We arrived late, around 2 pm, but received a warm welcome. Unfortunately, the manager was alone that day, running both the bar and the restaurant. There was a slightly longer wait, but considering he was working alone, it wasn't long at all in our opinion. The prices are reasonable, and the food is very good, with excellent homemade fries. I highly recommend it!

16/09/2026: I came to Antonio & Marco's on a Sunday evening around 9:30 pm with my partner. Upon arrival, we asked for a table for two. The waitress, visibly unmotivated (even annoyed), told us to wait while she prepared a table… even though several tables were already set and the restaurant wasn't full. A waiter then arrived and told us to sit "behind the post," practically shouting over the excessively loud music. It was impossible to hear each other properly. We ended up seated at a table for two right next to a table for four that was already occupied, with barely 70 cm of space between us… even though the restaurant wasn't full. Frankly, a little more comfort would have been appreciated. We wanted to give it a second chance after a bad experience in Tassin… but unfortunately, it's exactly the same here in Lyon 5. It's high time they reviewed their recruitment process or trained the staff in customer service. A smile, a little consideration, costs nothing. If working on Sundays is a problem, there are other jobs—and plenty of people would be happy to do them properly. As a resident of Tassin, I can say that it's better to go to a real, simple but efficient pizzeria. No need for "Instagrammable" decor to mask mediocre service. Avoid it. Good pizzerias do exist… but definitely not here.

13/09/2026: Excellent spot in the 5th arrondissement! We thoroughly enjoyed the salmon pasta. The Bellini was also delicious with its peach purée. Many thanks to Maria and the entire team for their kindness and warm welcome. Highly recommended! P.S. Don't forget to book to guarantee a table!

09/08/2026: One of the best French restaurants I’ve ever been (in France, all over Europe and the U.S.), even better than most Michelin restaurants. Their appetizers tend to be even more excellent than their main dishes; my favorites are: langoustine in bisque and duck tataki. In particular, the langoustine in bisque is really out of this world, and I will be dreaming about this dish until my return to Gif-sur-Yvette; this dish alone deserves a Michelin star. Their appetizers tend to be very creative in its mixture of sauces and ingredients. Everything tastes freshly made and of high quality. You can tell the chef is a master when even the side dishes such as potatoes or courgettes taste amazing. The location of the restaurant is perfectly convenient, just near the RER B station of GIF-sur-Yvette. They have both outdoor and indoor tables. In the summer, they have air conditioning inside. The only thing I don’t recommend is the dessert, nothing special compared to how amazing the appetizers and main dishes are. Overall this is certainly one of the best French restaurants in the entire Il de France, and it’s completely of a different league from the touristy restaurants in Paris. The restaurant is very small so reservation is highly recommended.
