26/05/2026: We stayed in this charming hotel in a very clean and comfortable room, which also boasted a splendid view of the Loire River. Dinner at the restaurant was perfect! The menu showcased local and organic produce, a true expression of the Loire Valley's terroir. The dishes were beautiful and, above all, delicious, with an incredible balance of flavors. To complement them, the wine list was also very local, featuring vibrant wines that perfectly reflected the chef's cuisine. A fully realized and consistent identity. A big thank you to Vanessa and Hendrik for their warm welcome!

02/08/2026: Limited selection, which suggests good products. "A bit too vinegary for a starter and not enough meat for the main course, but that depends on individual tastes and appetites." A major drawback is the mayonnaise and ketchup in tubes. It's a shame there's no outdoor seating.

The service was very pleasant, and the daily specials, featuring local produce and saffron grown on-site, were delicious. The €29 set menu changes depending on the harvest. A must-try! I highly recommend it.

On this sunny day, we had lunch outside in the shade, enjoying the pleasant breeze. The meal was simple, featuring local or farm-fresh produce. Enhanced with the house herbs and saffron, it was a delight, as evidenced by the beautifully presented dishes. All this with young and very efficient service, and with Capucine's warm smile. We were absolutely delighted. Thank you for this moment of pure bliss.

08/09/2026: A lovely little mountain road leads there. The welcome was a bit rough. The homemade sangria was excellent. The paella could have used a bit more spice. The coffee was reheated and slightly burnt. We received a small smile as we were leaving.

We were the only customers, which is a shame because this restaurant is well worth the detour, and even requires a bit of effort 😉 as the road leading there is narrow and winding through the cork oak forest! Once you arrive, you won't regret it because the menu offers unbeatable value for money and features homemade regional dishes. The owner does both the cooking and the serving. The paella is delicious and the portions are generous. A must-try! 🤩

16/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had less than an hour to eat before catching our TGV train, and the super efficient waitress took that into account! Everything went smoothly, and the food was delicious and plentiful! Very welcoming, thank you! We regularly take the TGV and we will be back.
