10/06/2026: A really nice and very good restaurant!

07/06/2026: Gluten-free option in the medieval city of Carcassonne. We chose the €21 set menu. The first course was baked Camembert, very good; the second course was cod with garnish, excellent; and my husband ordered the duck casserole and said it was finger-licking good (this dish contains gluten, so I couldn't try it). Dessert was panna cotta with raspberry and crème brûlée (a type of Catalan cream). The service was very friendly and they speak Spanish.

09/04/2026: We arrived early and although it was difficult to get a table, the incredibly nice staff arranged a cozy little space for us. The food was French and really good. We left with full bellies. Thank you.

27/03/2026: Good food, partly from the southwest. The beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ceviche was very good.

05/06/2026: This restaurant was a delightful surprise. The starter was very inventive and particularly delicious. The John Dory was prepared with exquisite presentation and had a delicate flavor. The service was excellent… a big thank you to the entire team.

02/05/2026: I had a bad experience at Edwige Coffee. I ordered a cold Americano and a cold latte, but the Americano came in a cup that was less than half full, and the latte was about half full. I was disappointed because other customers' cups were filled to the brim. Also, the tone was curt, which left me feeling uncomfortable. I do not want to go there again.

13/05/2026: The most important thing about this restaurant: the staff is incredibly attentive. We were well served, warmly welcomed, and they even apologized for the delay in service, even though we didn't have to wait long. It was very pleasant. As for the food, the flavor combinations are well thought out; I particularly enjoyed the scallop gazpacho. The hot stone platters we saw being served looked amazing; I even regretted not ordering one. However, I found the prices a bit high. I must say, the building's architecture is simply incredible in the heart of Challans; it's quite striking. It looks very chic (even more so with matching chair colors 😉).

06/06/2026: We called to reserve a lunch for seven people at 1:30 pm and were warmly welcomed at 1:35 pm. The service was excellent, the children were also very well looked after, and the food was classic but homemade and very fresh. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a truly pleasant setting. We will gladly return for our family meals.

I highly recommend making a reservation. P.S.: For raclette, you need to reserve so the restaurant can prepare the equipment. 😉

07/07/2026: I could give it 10/5 and I would. Perfect welcome. Perfect servers, a special shout-out to Mouss, excellent! I've rarely seen such a friendly and humorous server. New owner in Mimizan, we'll be back often. Homemade food, homemade mayonnaise. Absolutely amazing! 🍹🍾💯☺️

Excellent value for money. Nice atmosphere. Many regulars. We were here 13 years ago. Still the same owner, only he speaks French. Anyone who loves good French home cooking will be in good hands here.
