13/09/2026: We reserved a table under the beautiful dome and enjoyed lunch there 🌟 Since it was only our second day in Paris and we weren't very hungry, we chose the seafood with beurre blanc sauce and strawberry pavlova. French restaurants are becoming less common in Japan, so we were very happy to have the opportunity to enjoy such classic dishes. The bread 🥖 was exceptionally delicious. The restaurant's interior was beautifully decorated in an Art Nouveau style, and the paintings at the bottom of the stairs on the way to the restroom were also wonderful 🖼️. The Carnavalet Museum is nearby, and I highly recommend this restaurant for experiencing a truly Parisian atmosphere.

20/08/2026: A truly wonderful place, excellent and generous cuisine, even the daily special. Malika's welcome was professional and warm. The setting is beautiful, with a 1960s cinema-inspired decor. Lunch was enjoyed with the charming gaze of Jean-Claude Brialy. In short, a very pleasant experience.

28/08/2026: What a shame, the customer service at the Drive is nonexistent, no respect for the customer whatsoever. The Drive is sluggish, it took over 15 minutes to get through to someone at the intercom, and the staff were rude. QED

29/05/2026: Last Wednesday, to my great surprise, I saw two large, traditional-style flans (€21). I thought to myself: strange, they usually only make them on weekends (according to one of the employees I'd seen earlier). Given their very dull appearance and the presence of steam, I didn't dare ask the waitress (a rather rushed woman in her fifties) if they were fresh. When I got home, the taste was off: pronounced acidity and a slightly refrigerated flavor. In my opinion, these pastries were made sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning and hadn't been sold since. It's one of the first times I've thrown away part of a traditional flan. My opinion of Potier in general, where I've been going occasionally for several years. I've lived in Marcoussis for over 20 years. The pastries are well-made and taste great. Their galette des rois (king cake) is always excellent. As for the bread, especially the "Tradition" loaf, it has never lived up to its predecessor. Service: most of the time, the waiting customer doesn't seem to be a priority, and the tone is unprofessional. I think the counter staff are also responsible for storing the pastries. Conclusion: Mr. Potier makes very good pastries, but his bread is less convincing. However, everything related to customer service is subpar. The person in charge of this aspect seems to confuse customer with user. To top it all off, they give you a card after your purchase, dangling the promise of a trip if you leave a review. 🤦‍♂️

23/08/2026: By chance discovered this lovely” gem “of a hotel with frescos painted walls many years ago by an Italian.. unique small gem in heart of this little intersting town Marina and her staff are warm ,welcoming and hospitable .. you will get good exercise climbing the stairs to your room Breakfast taken in outdoor restaurant patio

09/09/2026: Fantastic mussels with chorizo. Pleasant setting and welcome. Reservations recommended. Prices rather high.
