19/08/2026: Very disappointed with our evening We were already familiar with Bacchus & Pool and had a good impression of the establishment. So, we came this evening with my mother and a friend, but unfortunately, we left very disappointed. Arriving around 9 pm, we were rushed to order because the kitchen closed at 9:30 pm. When I asked if this was also the case during the summer season, the waitress made it very clear that she wasn't on vacation. Her attitude really made us feel like we were bothering her. The aperitifs were served at the same time as the main courses, and while setting down the drinks, she spilled a cup of boiling water on our table. We were splashed, and my friend's bag got wet. The table was barely wiped. Then, when it started to rain and we asked to be seated inside, we were met with a curt, "I'm not in any hurry to stay tonight." We understand the hours and constraints of running a restaurant, but not this lack of consideration for customers. We know people who frequent the establishment and had always had a good impression of Bacchus & Pool. Unfortunately, after this evening, we certainly won't be able to recommend it as we used to. It's a shame, because all it would have taken was a pleasant welcome for the evening to go well.

09/09/2026: One Monday at lunchtime, "For two? Did you make a reservation? I'll check." A very warm welcome, a lovely place, good traditional regional cuisine, and good local beer. Quick, friendly, and welcoming service. Each time I've returned to the North this year, I've had great experiences: Crespin in April, Laon, Maroilles, Pont-sur-Sambre, and Aulnoye-Aymeries in July, and Jenlain on August 31st. Thank you.

05/09/2026: A fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious and homemade. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This restaurant was recommended to us by our Airbnb host (Sam and Lili's), and we have absolutely no regrets. If you want to eat exceptionally well, you have to go! 😍

12/07/2026: A place to remember, a warm welcome, and a family atmosphere. The wood-fired pizzas are excellent, and they also offer daily specials. The prices are reasonable considering the quality. The restaurant is located on a small street with parking.

03/05/2026: As pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, we had a truly wonderful time at L’Escalandes. The welcome was warm and the meal excellent. Marina is a lovely person, full of kindness. We had a problem with blisters, and she did everything she could to help us. We are from Pas-de-Calais and hope to have the opportunity to return. A big thank you!

06/06/2026: A peculiar moment... a hake dish with an overpowering gingerbread crust, but the fish was cooked perfectly nonetheless; a boss who found it more convenient to apply her makeup in front of the main dining room mirror than to lend a hand to her team... A true leader indeed... A minor languishing in the restaurant, sometimes serving, sometimes making coffee, sometimes restocking the bar; everyone trying to keep him busy. It seems to me that the golden age of the boss's children working extra shifts is now forbidden... In short, a suspended moment... I'll spare you the waitress's advice on the beer selection; it could be a play, but this isn't the place. Enjoy your meal and the show.

12/09/2026: Great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals every time. We came 10 times this summer of 2026! Very reasonable and more than fair prices. We'll be back next year if we can return to Corsica, of course.

21/07/2026: For years I'd walked past this restaurant without really knowing what to make of the name. There were three of us on Monday, and I made a reservation... what can I say? Impeccable in every way. The place, a true neighborhood restaurant. The welcome, friendly and warm. The dishes on offer, nothing to complain about. The buffets, nothing to complain about. The bill, nothing to complain about. In short: I highly recommend it, go for it!

31/08/2026: A tiny restaurant/cocktail bar. But it makes quite an impression in a place as out of the way as Nonancourt. Stop by. A real gem! Simply fantastic: perfect decor, excellent food, and the welcome (mother and son) is superb. It's not often you come across a restaurant serving South American cuisine (primarily Colombian, it seems). Don't miss it!
