06/09/2026: Having enjoyed a visit last year we were keen to return hoping for just as good a pizza as before. We were not disappointed. Wonderful warm welcome from the couple who appear to run the business. Very well presented, very clean, comprehensive menu. Everything you would expect from a professional take away business. We agreed a collection time and so when we returned we were presented with a freshly cooked pizza. The timing was perfect rather than what so often happens of the pizza being cooked earlier and been left sitting waiting for us to arrive. These guys are delivering excellent food in an excellent way. If I could give them 10 stars I would. See you next year. Merci beaucoup.

10/09/2026: A pleasant surprise for our lunch break before a winery visit. Simple and satisfying cuisine. Just what we needed, and the service was excellent, even during peak hours. That's what we love. The place is charming and full of antiques. We really enjoyed it. Expect to pay €16 for a main course and dessert, or €18.50 for a buffet starter, main course, and dessert.

15/05/2026: This review isn't about the food, which is excellent, but about everything else—and unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were told to leave at a specific time, even though several tables were available. This is quite surprising. During the meal, the pressure was constant: the servers stared at our plates, monitored our progress, and even communicated our progress through their earpieces. On several occasions, this became downright uncomfortable. The most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to our request for a doggy bag. The dish was very good, and I simply wanted to finish it at home. Although the request was granted, we were subjected to inappropriate remarks and a persistent, sarcastic attempt to discourage me from ordering dessert. I did order dessert—and I finished it, much to the disgruntled waiter's surprise :) Another point: some tables, with customers who were clearly wealthier than us, received very different treatment… My review is really about one waiter, whom I absolutely do not recommend and who ruined our service. The location is pleasant, as they're lucky enough to have a beautiful view, but the food is excellent, some of the best I've ever had. However, given the prices and the service, you'll get exactly the same experience at any competing restaurant. We now understand the bad reviews about this establishment.

01/09/2026: One Sunday, arriving at 5:15 PM without a reservation (reservations are impossible after 3 PM), a waiter, with a deplorable attitude, informed us that we couldn't come because they were closing in less than an hour. Yet Google Maps and ZenChef indicate a closing time of 7:30 PM on Sundays. This isn't the first time I've been treated poorly here; I won't be repeating the experience. Could it be possible to have up-to-date opening hours and a modicum of courtesy from the staff?
