11/06/2026: Been coming to Le Chaudron over the past few summers, as it nevers disappoints, always deliciously satisfying. Cozy atmosphere, smaller menu with French bistro classics mixed with Italian and Provencal "slow food" entrees like risottos, stews, and braises. A few great wines and stellar deserts, especially a standout creme brulee, best I've had anywhere in a long time. Service very friendly and helpful, albeit slower at busier times. Maybe not ideal if you're in rush, but for a date night, an evening with a great company, or a relaxing solo meal, it's an absolute gem

06/07/2026: We came on Sunday, July 5th at 12:30 pm, a group of five accompanied by our small dog, and we had a wonderful time from beginning to end. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of the staff, who spontaneously brought water for our dog without us even having to ask. It's these little touches that make all the difference. The service was impeccable, warm, and perfectly in keeping with the quality of the restaurant. The dishes, desserts, and wine were simply excellent, and the entire team contributed to making our experience truly enjoyable. A big thank you; we will gladly return and recommend this restaurant without hesitation!

04/07/2026: I booked for my birthday but didn't mention it when I made the reservation. I was surprised to see a pretty, sparkling candle on my raspberry mille-feuille. Impeccable service. Impeccable meal. My only regret is not having tried the tasting menu. I'm a small eater and I understood that you needed a hearty appetite. I opted for the "trendy" menu and frankly, it was fantastic. A wonderful memory. Thank you.

17/05/2026: We came to eat with friends last night on a recommendation, and we weren't disappointed! The staff is welcoming and friendly, the dishes are generous and delicious. The meat was particularly tender, and a special mention goes to the homemade bread: a real treat! We'll gladly come back.

25/05/2026: A perfect stay from start to finish! As a tour bus driver, I stayed at this hotel with a group of seniors, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the reception to the rooms, including the restaurant, the welcome, and the overall organization, there was nothing to complain about. A big thank you to the manager, Dominique, who is excellent, as well as to Hicham, the group manager, who was simply exceptional in his management and follow-up. Special mention also goes to our guide, Pietro, who greatly contributed to the success of this trip. The rooms are spotless, and the food delighted all my travelers. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return! Christophe

14/07/2026: Don't hesitate to stop here. You can enjoy generous and delicious dishes in a simple and welcoming atmosphere, with impeccable and quick service, all at very reasonable prices. At noon, it's advisable to arrive early to get a table (especially for larger groups).

03/05/2026: We ordered a takeaway dish: plain couscous. When we arrived, we were given two dishes of plain couscous. I explained that I had only ordered one, but it made no difference. So, to my great regret, I ended up paying for two. Despite the Tupperware containers provided, the vegetables were served in a plastic ice cream tub, still with the labels on… It's unhygienic and really doesn't make you want to eat it. While waiting, I stayed at the bar and saw the bartender putting the unfinished bowls of olives back into the bin. So much for hygiene… My girlfriend has leukemia, and this kind of behavior could have serious consequences.

09/07/2026: I'm not reviewing the restaurant itself, but the food truck, which is under the same management but just nearby. For now, I enjoy eating inside, but as soon as the weather gets warmer, I'll be eating outside. With their infused rum concept (it's amazing!) and the food truck's attractive facade, they offer simple dishes at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant at the foot of the castle.

Excellent value for money. Nice atmosphere. Many regulars. We were here 13 years ago. Still the same owner, only he speaks French. Anyone who loves good French home cooking will be in good hands here.
