13/06/2026: For our grandson's birthday, we came to have lunch on the terrace. Everything was good, but unfortunately, the loud music from the neighboring bar ruined our peace and quiet. We won't be back, and if you like peace and quiet, this isn't the right place, even though it's not their fault...

This restaurant perfectly combines quality, authenticity, and the pleasure of fine dining. A truly excellent place that I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return.

09/04/2026: A lovely little crêperie with very friendly service, including the apprentices, despite the crowds. Extras were readily available and inexpensive. I only ordered one savory crêpe because it was so generously filled I would have had to go on a trek to finish it, but I saw the others next to mine and they looked just as delicious. Not ordering a drink or dessert didn't change the welcome at all, so I promised myself I'd come back with a bigger appetite (or try a less filling one) to also sample their lovely crêpes and perhaps their homemade apple juice (since I don't drink alcohol or sugar)...

23/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at this Italian restaurant, open since 1985, where a true mastery of ingredients and cooking techniques is evident. The sea bass carpaccio, with condiments and bottarga, was exquisitely delicate: the raw fish retained all its freshness and pearly texture, the condiments added depth, acidity, and crunch, while the bottarga provided an elegant, briny saltiness that lingered on the palate. The linguine with langoustines, cooked in their own reduction, was perfectly executed: the pasta had a lovely chew, and the reduction concentrated all the flavor of the langoustines, with a deep, almost enveloping jus that bound everything together without weighing it down. The grilled tuna, Sicilian style, with its rich balsamic jus, was also a beautiful dish: the grilling imparts a subtle smoky note and a more substantial texture, while the balsamic jus balances the richness with a gentle acidity and a truly indulgent flavor. For dessert, the frozen strawberry and rhubarb vacherin plays brilliantly on the contrast between the crispness, the coldness, the tartness of the rhubarb, and the sweetness of the strawberry. Finally, the poached white peaches with amaretti crumble and verbena sorbet bring the meal to a refreshing close: poaching makes the peaches melt in your mouth, the amaretti adds a crunchy texture and a hint of almond, and the verbena provides a light, vegetal, and very pleasant finish. A historic, precise, generous, and elegant establishment, offering refined Italian cuisine that remains accessible and easy to appreciate. I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: I had a wonderful experience at ⁠Auberge du Clos Normand hotel & restaurant and highly recommend it. The check-in process was handled in a very professional manner. While confirming my room type, the receptionist noticed my champagne purchase and asked about it. When I explained it was for my birthday, she generously gave me a free room upgrade.She also passed this information along to the restaurant team. During our dinner, the staff surprised me with a lovely birthday gesture, which was very much appreciated. The food was absolutely fabulous, incredibly tasty, and priced very fairly for the excellent quality and portion sizes. I recommend this establishment with all my heart, particularly for the exceptional food and the beautiful location.

29/06/2026: It's a good place, with nice and inventive cuisine; I tried the baby squid (very good) and the tarte tatin (a little less successful). The only thing that could be improved is the fries, which were soggy inside and rather disappointing. In the evening, the dining room seems quite noisy, with music and the TV blaring. The service is somewhat inconsistent; we had a waiter who was very kind and efficient.
