22/10/2023: We are slowly getting to know the French Jura and happened upon this small hotel in Foncine-le-Haut. There, we opted to spend the night in the roullotte, a kind of trailer, which gave us the autonomy of a small apartment. Jessica and Julien are very friendly and helpful. Julien was in charge of the kitchen in the evenings, and we and our friends picked through pretty much everything on the menu over a couple of evenings. It was all very good, well-prepared, generous portions. They offer local products where they can. Jessica was on duty in the mornings and breakfast was well worth getting up for!
We enjoyed our stay, there’s lots to see in and around the town, and good hiking. I definitely recommend a stay.

L acceuil est vraiment sympathique ,humain,vrai.
On s'est senti réellement accueilli.
Le repas était délicieux du début à la fin.
J ai craqué pour le moelleux au chocolat. J aurais dû demander la recette....
Le petit déjeuner :excellent
J ai apprécié que tous les détails soient pensés : les vins sont bio la musique est chouette les yaourt maison du matin sont maison et délicieux, etc
Ça fait plaisir. Merci.
Vraiment: on a passé un bon moment.
Ah... les chambres sont belles.

17/11/2024: Good service and good food even if we were a little taken aback to learn that they had run out of pizza for 15 days, for a pizzeria it's rather funny but the dishes they served us were good, the waitress was was friendly and came to see us from time to time.
Well thought out to look at the schedules however since from a certain time in the evening they are no longer used.
14/11/2024: We went there twice and although the setting is nice and the service very good, we were never really impressed by the food. Damage. Fair price.

I'm updating my comment, I still really like this shop, however, I'm sad to see that there is less ice cream in Royan since their move.

17/09/2024: For us, this small, rustic hotel with a restaurant in this manageable rural town was a relief from our previous stay in the city.
It is close to our destination “Viaduc Garabit Eiffel” so we could see it during the day and then in the evening with lighting.

Another asset, its specialty: aioli! In several variations, including a very well composed vegetarian aioli.

22/09/2024: Our favourite in Lyon. This always inventive and playful kitchen never disappoints and provides a refined, well balanced but very filling menu at a price point that feels fair, with wonderful service and a great list of wines and cocktails to make it a complete experience.
17/09/2024: Inventive, tasty cuisine made with quality products. A professional and friendly service. The only downside: a noisy soundscape, certainly due to the ceiling. Discussions between guests at the same table remain uncomfortable.
