16/09/2026: We dined there as a couple on a Tuesday evening in August 2026. We had a wonderful meal; the food is prepared with high-quality, local ingredients, and the portions are generous and delicious. The staff is very kind, attentive, and always smiling! We recommend booking in advance as seating may be limited. We don't usually leave reviews, but when we do, it's because the food is truly excellent! This restaurant deserves to be better known! Thank you so much for a very enjoyable meal! We've told our friends about your restaurant and we'll be back!

24/07/2026: The waitress poured a quarter of your beer down the sink and charged you full price, and on top of that, she wasn't friendly. A smile wouldn't hurt 😤

25/08/2026: We came without a reservation, and they still managed to find us a table, even though the restaurant was completely full just 30 minutes later. We started with the charcuterie board for two, with a fantastic selection of cheeses and meats. For mains, we had their Gnocchiflette, their take on tartiflette made with gnocchi instead of potatoes, and it was absolutely wonderful. We also had the pasta with truffle cream, which was unbelievably good. Both the pasta itself and the sauce were excellent. Service was warm and friendly, the beer was cold and good, and the whole evening was a great experience. Definitely recommended!

16/08/2026: We ordered pesto pasta, we had been wanting it for a long time…the dish itself was a huge disappointment. It consisted almost entirely of oil, it didn’t have much flavor, and the pasta wasn’t cooked to the perfect consistency for us, it was harder than it should have been. I personally didn’t like that the pine nuts were not ground into the sauce itself, so the taste of the whole dish was in each bite. They spared the basil…really unfortunately we got a pasta with more olive oil and a little cheese. We didn’t eat it.

23/08/2026: Bar-Restaurant-Hôtel de la Poste! This recently renovated establishment offers a pleasant setting. We enjoyed an excellent ham hock with Munster sauce, a true local specialty, served with generous homemade fries. For dessert, the mirabelle plum crème brûlée was the perfect ending to the meal. The menu also showcases local products with some delightful discoveries: the local beers Amer Mirabelle and Amer Sapin, as well as a surprising Timut & Foin de Montagne aperitif that's well worth trying. Hearty and flavorful homemade dishes, a warm welcome, attentive service, and parking available: all the ingredients were there for a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

09/08/2026: Excellent experience at this lovely restaurant in Docelles! From the service to the food, everything was perfect. The service was quick, thanks to the friendly staff, and the food was delicious, high-quality, and above all, locally sourced—enough to delight you for the duration of your meal! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this hotel-restaurant near the post office.

04/09/2026: This establishment is failing. Minimal service, not up to the standard of the menu. An excellent bottle of white wine for €70, not served in an ice bucket, a mixed platter with no explanation of the specialties offered, no small plates, you eat directly at the table, zucchini fritters (with potatoes?) far too salty, gravlax salmon (mostly grated carrot) with no flavor or consistency whatsoever (well, we are in Corsica, not Norway). We're locals, we had a very good evening there a year ago, we came back, but we won't be returning. The toilets are inadequate… A shame for such an iconic establishment.

05/09/2026: When my partner and I asked to move upstairs, we were told it was excessively hot. They said it would be quieter. We agreed, thinking we'd be able to hear each other despite the loud music. But from the moment we arrived, we were already hesitant to stay. Instead of asking, we found a quiet restaurant. They put on soft music, or jazz. It's not a high-end restaurant, admittedly, but the nightclub-style music—remember, the clientele is of all ages. Whether it's children, the elderly, or those with hearing difficulties—it's not a pleasant dining environment. So we left. Losing customers over something like that is a shame.

25/08/2026: - Welcoming and friendly staff. You felt really welcome. - Quick ordering & serving. - Takes cards. Has a toilet. - It wasn't that big of a place, so it's always a good idea to book a table on busy days to secure this great meal🤤 - Good ingredients: burger bread, meat, dressing & greens. - “Blue” burger: 5/10, but this is due to personal taste where the blue cheese was a bit too dominant. - “Brie” burger: 7/10 (somewhat one-sided taste). - Fraise: Very good and less greasy than regular fraise. Reminiscent of oven-baked potato boats rather than fried in deep-frying oil. Served with a good and fresh dressing. Would love to come back😃

25/08/2026: Really nice staff. You feel welcome and looked after from the first moment. Double “supreme” burger: - 8/10 of all the burgers we have tasted before. - 10/10 of all the cheeseburgers we have tasted. A place to come back to☺️ (we had 3 different burgers 3 days in a row)🤭

03/07/2026: Italy on a plate! From antipasti to desserts, including pasta, everything is homemade and perfectly executed. All this in a small restaurant with a charming and attentive welcome. Once again, the Routard guide has given us an excellent recommendation.

13/09/2026: A very good restaurant, one of the few open on Sunday at lunchtime in Biganos. A warm welcome, but reservations are essential as the dining room is small. The manager is very friendly, attentive, and has a great sense of humor. The set menu and daily specials offer a good variety, with very high-quality fish and meat dishes. The presentation of the dishes is sophisticated and very appetizing. The set menu portions are slightly smaller than the à la carte options, which is understandable, as €27 includes a starter, main course, and dessert. The wines are excellent and good value, available by the bottle, half-bottle, and glass. We had a wonderful time and will certainly return soon. A special mention to the chef for his delicious and beautifully presented cuisine. I highly recommend it.

22/08/2026: Incompetent, arrogant, and disdainful waitress. We had a drink on the terrace. We wanted a second one, so we went straight to the bar. The guy there told us to go sit down and he'd come take our order. After fifteen minutes without a waitress, we went back to the bar. I said we'd like to order, if she'd be so kind as to come over. The waitress said to me in a condescending tone, "Well, since you're here, why don't you order directly?" I replied that we were told not to order at the bar, that you would come over... From then on, she became very aggressive and completely unprofessional. The service industry... it's a profession... it's something you learn. Clearly, she didn't go to hospitality school... what a shame, I used to come here often. It's a place I liked. I won't be going back. I don't want to be insulted when I come to have a pleasant time with my friends.

11/09/2026: A must-visit, of course. In a magnificent chalet that was once a farm, and also a nightclub, before becoming a restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient, especially if you haven't made a reservation. The fireplace heats not only the meat but also the room. The menu is indeed traditional mountain fare. One disappointment: the lamb comes from New Zealand. So I declined to order it.

15/09/2026: Wonderful little traditional restaurant. Excellent and flavorful meal, authentic Corsican cuisine at the tip of your fork. The children's menu was perfectly cooked and a delight; our son absolutely loved it.

14/09/2026: Absolutely not a tourist trap! Here you get authentic, original Corsican cuisine and warm, welcoming service. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The escalope with mushrooms in flambéed sauce is especially recommended – simply superb! If you truly want to experience Corsican cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommended! 02/05/2026: Excellent dish! Unfortunately, I'm giving it 4 stars because there's very little space, and you're practically sitting next to other customers when you're in the dining area! But everything else was very good!

13/04/2026: We come from time to time and are never disappointed! The atmosphere is refined and chic, and the staff is pleasant and professional. On sunny days, the restaurant offers a lovely hidden terrace in the inner courtyard. An Italian menu just the way we like it, accompanied by a fine selection of wines that pair perfectly with the delicious cuisine. A wonderful place in old Périgueux, a stone's throw from the basilica.
