09/09/2026: Genuinely one of the most welcoming dining experiences i’ve ever had, paired with exceptional food and great pricing. Me and my family have been to many restaurants all over southern France, some meals ranging in hundreds of euros and still leaving you desiring more. Having been here, my only problem was we couldn’t get enough! Quick service from one of the most polite, kind and respectful gentlemen I’ve ever met. Should you find yourself in Nice I would absolutely suggest that you seek this place out. A true 5 star experience.

18/08/2026: The food here is absolutely delicious, I had the chicken madras and my partner had the chicken tikka masala and both meals were 5 stars. The service here was also great, the man who we assumed was the owner/chef was very accommodating ☺️

07/09/2026: Honestly, I love Kalostrape! It's the first restaurant I've recommended to my friends. I'm leaving this review with the intention of improving the place, because on our last visit we were really disappointed… I hope the managers, or I believe AEK, will take action! What's going on? It took us 45 minutes to get the menu (the menu was on the table). The service was interminable… we arrived at noon, paid at 3:30 PM, without even being able to order dessert… A friend had an hour and a half to eat because she had to go back to work afterward. Finally, since we still hadn't received the menu after 45 minutes… we asked a waiter what we could get for her in 45 minutes. They started telling us it wouldn't be possible, but when we insisted that we could get a main course in an hour and a half, they finally managed to get her some tapas in time! Thank you for her… even though she was disappointed by the quality of the tapas… it’s usually much better… For my part, the meal with the set menu was good, simple local produce, and effective! Very good value for money! So, we arrived to pay 3.5 hours later without having been able to order the desserts from our set menus. They made a mess of things to remove the price of the desserts from the menu… or rather, none of the dishes listed on the order form corresponded to reality. Well, we trusted them, and you can trust them too; the price corresponded to the set menu minus the desserts, approximately. Honestly, having to make such a mess of things… at the bar, at the till, he seemed completely lost and a bit out of it. As for the service, I got the impression that nobody cared! I don't recognize Kalostrape! And I'm leaving this comment because other acquaintances told me that something similar happened recently, especially at the Bayonne Festival. I truly hope you will find a united team again, one that takes what it does to heart! And efficient! Like I knew it!

18/08/2026: We had a wonderful time; the food was refined but not overly so, and the welcome and service were perfect. The price was more than reasonable. In short, I will gladly return.

28/08/2026: A very pleasant place, though the dining room is quite small, so it's best to arrive early or make a reservation. The concept of a single dish is interesting, but a bit pricey for those on a budget. Starters are €8.50 and main courses are €20.

24/08/2026: What a pleasant surprise!!! A real treat! The cuisine was sophisticated, original, and delicious. We had a very enjoyable time on the terrace under the trees, despite the proximity of the road being the only slight drawback to this fantastic discovery. I absolutely recommend it.

22/07/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The ambiance in the square alone was breathtaking. It's a dream to sit under the plane trees and listen to the beautiful music. Victorien's team provided incredibly attentive service, anticipating our every need. The menu was pure bliss. The courses were perfectly coordinated, extraordinary creations unlike anything we'd ever tasted before. Simply delicious! This is exactly my idea of ​​the perfect vacation evening! We're going back again tonight. I'd say you're missing out on something special in Ceret if you haven't eaten here.
