14/07/2026: Abusive staff to be banned! Our Mother's Day reservation got off to a bad start. We ordered the wrong drinks (it happens, no big deal), we pointed it out, and then waited over an hour for the correct aperitif. The same thing happened with the main courses, which took over an hour to be served (while the tables next to us, who arrived after us, had already finished eating). We went to complain and told them it was ridiculous; we had a 7-year-old who still hadn't eaten by 2 PM. Then came the time to pay, and that's when things escalated, with the head waitress yelling at us in front of everyone. We shouldn't have complained because it unsettled the staff. What kind of place is this?! On top of making a mess of things, we get yelled at? I've never seen anything like it! Furthermore, your personal life is none of our business. If you wanted to be with your daughter for Mother's Day, you should have chosen your profession wisely.

29/05/2026: We ordered a kebab and a yufka with white sauce, but there wasn't any. Plus, the kebab was way too spicy. The same thing happened with the fries; we asked for mayonnaise and ketchup, and there were barely two drops of either. One thing's for sure: we won't be back.

21/07/2026: Their Stenders and homemade party wings are super delicious; they have incredible dishes. I recommend trying the escalopes with cream sauce and Brini rice. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: Cheval Rouge Restaurant - This was great. We finished visiting Chateau Villandry, and had a 1 hour drive ahead to Saumur. As we headed out of town, we realized it might be nice to eat here before we continue. It was a rainy and blustery day, so let's stop. We were not disappointed. A nice, quiet stop. The food was just what we wanted. Since arriving in France, seems every place is serving "tourist" portions, meaning more than we can eat to the detriment of quality. Cheval Rouge was just the right amount with the wonderful French flavors. Service was quiet and efficient. A good decision to stop here. Try the Lamb stew.

18/05/2026: Old room, hair dryer not working, renovation badly needed. As for the positives - it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was alright.

18/06/2026: This lunchtime, we stopped at Sylvia and had a lovely time. We chose croque-madame sandwiches, followed by crème brûlée for dessert, both with coffee. Nothing complicated, but sometimes that's exactly what you want: a simple, well-prepared meal served in a pleasant setting. The croque-madame sandwiches were delicious, the crème brûlée was the perfect ending to lunch, and we left satisfied. A place where you feel comfortable taking a break in the heart of Chantilly, unpretentious, simply enjoying a good meal.

31/05/2026: We had the Croque Monsieur with a salad. Very generous portions. So well prepared. The wait staff was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived via train and they were so nice placing our bags (carry on size) out of the way. Although this restaurant is very busy, it took no time to get seated and served. We sat outside and enjoyed the company.

22/07/2026: Attentive and very kind service. A generous portion and good value for money. Efficient. And on top of that, a magnificent dog who brightened our evening. Well done and best of luck for the future.

14/07/2026: The restaurant was good, but the welcome and service were handled by a passive-aggressive waiter. I had a reservation, and he coldly asked me if I wanted a table inside or outside. I asked for inside, and his response was, "Mmm." For the rest of the meal, he didn't smile once. I understand that people can have a bad day, but we didn't ask for any of this...

13/07/2026: Perfect, we had a Savoyard fondue and ice cream for dessert. It was excellent. Perhaps a little pricey, but that's the going rate at the resort. The service was quick and the staff were helpful.

30/05/2026: I've walked past this restaurant several times; the menu changes seasonally, highlighting seasonal produce and homemade cuisine. We decided to try it today for a birthday celebration. Making a reservation through their website was quick and easy. I had to exchange emails with the owners several times because I had some specific requests, and I received very prompt and friendly replies to each one—it was lovely! French regional cuisine is truly showcased here! The food is delicious, the staff is warm and welcoming, the chef is passionate, and the atmosphere is inviting. We had a wonderful time! We want to thank all the staff and we will definitely be back! A special mention for the very reasonable price considering the quality of the food!

16/05/2026: An excellent restaurant in Le Vésinet, very close to the RER A train station. Generous homemade cuisine, beautifully prepared traditional dishes, and warm service. L’Auberge des Trois Marches is a truly great place for lunch or dinner in a peaceful setting. Special mention for the quality of the ingredients and the value for money. A sure bet in Le Vésinet.
