11/07/2026: We were recommended by the Hôtel de l'Amphithéâtre, and luckily so, as it allowed us to 1) learn a new expression from the Sarthe region... and 2) sample the cuisine of this small restaurant in the Nîmes market. It was fresh, generous, and above all, delicious. The chef even gave us a recipe. Go without hesitation!

30/06/2026: Wow! What a pleasant surprise! The flavors of the appetizer, main course, and dessert were all exceptional, as was the beautiful presentation. It truly is a wonderful place. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant, especially since the chef, Charlotte, is so attentive to his customers and passionate about wine, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. 04/07/2026: A place I've been frequenting for about 15 years, never disappointed, excellent seafood, a very pleasant quiet terrace, you simply feel good there.

26/06/2026: Excellent lunch today, everything homemade from appetizer to dessert. The fish rillettes were superb, the black cod fillet was very good, as was the coffee tiramisu. No wait at all.

08/05/2026: Cozy restaurant with a bistro atmosphere, meaning you can sit comfortably both inside and out, and outside until late in the evening sun. We had lasagna bolognese and goat cheese salad with fries and house wine. Delicious, plenty of ground beef and a well-filled salad. Super fast too, even though it wasn't busy. A nice, cozy, and pleasant spot for dinner and evening drinks; recommended.

24/05/2026: I'll let you compare the prices at Plaisir and Bois d'Arcy and form your own opinion. Being from Bois d'Arcy, with the local cuisine, it's cheaper for me to go to Plaisir (only €5 difference on some menus). For a franchise with three locations, that's outrageous! ;)

26/04/2026: Everything you could want on a Sunday afternoon: good food, a great atmosphere, excellent service, and little fish swimming just below in the clear waters of the Doubs River. Perfect! We'll be back.

17/07/2026: Really nice brasserie near Anvers station. The food was genuinely good and the prices were reasonable for Montmartre. We had the faux-filet, the chicken schnitzel for the kids, and a fish dish (they were out of the sea bass, but the substitute they offered was great). The only real downside on the service side was that they were severely understaffed, just one poor waitress trying to handle the entire place by herself, so things were a bit slow. Also, the beer and wine could have been a lot colder. They gave us ice which helped a lot. We did have a bit of a moment with the bill when the card reader glitched. We ended up paying cash, only to realize on our banking apps that the card payment had actually gone through. The waiter double-checked their system and handed our cash back right away. Just hope their card machine behaves better for the next guests. Overall, a good experience.
