27/05/2026: A truly wonderful place! The galettes are delicious, generous, and made fresh to order. We were a group of 11, and despite the sweltering heat on that Pentecost Saturday evening, the waitress remained very professional and incredibly kind. We even had the chance to meet the crêpe maker as we were leaving—she's clearly passionate about her craft and her region. A very enjoyable experience.

17/04/2026: I made a reservation and visited from Korea. I was grateful that the owner and staff were so kind and explained the truffles so well. We like truffles and risotto, but we have very rare Korean palates and eat Korean food frequently. We ordered the Truffle Foie Gras as a starter, and it was my first time trying foie gras. It had a truffle aroma and felt a bit like ice cream, and it was delicious when eaten on bread. I had absolutely no aversion to it, and I highly recommend it. I recommend the risotto over the gnocchi. I felt so full from the salami and bread served at the beginning, and the Truffle Foie Gras and bread starter, that I feel like I couldn't properly enjoy the risotto and gnocchi. Please note that the portions for both the risotto and gnocchi are quite large.

16/04/2026: Delicious cuisine and, above all, warm and impeccable service. The wines and truffles selected by the restaurant owners are prominently featured on the menu, giving it a very personal touch. The owners' passion shines through in both the service and the food! You won't be disappointed by the fresh, local produce served in a welcoming atmosphere.

27/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent experience at the Platane restaurant in Champagne-au-Mont-d’Or. We had a wonderful time from beginning to end. A huge thank you to Sixtine, who served us with incredible kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism. Truly perfect service. The dishes were excellent: the sea bream was delicious, the duckling perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the ravioli with Saint-Marcellin cheese was a huge hit with my daughter. Special mention also goes to their attention to my food allergies. They really took the matter seriously and were careful about the oils used, which is rare and much appreciated. And then the desserts… incredible. The profiteroles were exceptional, and the floating island was superb. Everyone at the table was delighted. We highly recommend this restaurant!

23/05/2026: A superb experience. The meal is homemade and very generous, in addition to being very tasty. And to top it all off, the owner is very kind, and you'll be served by a truly exceptional waitress in terms of service, advice, politeness, and friendliness.

07/06/2026: We were delighted to discover this authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of medieval Perigueux. We chose the €17 menu which was fantastically good value and offered a great veggie option. We added a traditional roti as we’d spotted one going to another table. Complimentary poppadoms arrived within minutes brought by our delightful waiter. The portions were generous and delicious.

07/06/2026: An Indian restaurant with a lovely outdoor area in an old square in Périgueux. The service was friendly and quick, and the menu offered a good selection of traditional dishes. We returned for another dinner.

11/05/2026: A small restaurant where we received a very warm welcome with our dog (who doesn't move) despite the lady's phobia of dogs. Thank you again, madam, for your hospitality; we had a very good meal and highly recommend this restaurant.

26/05/2026: The place is very beautiful, however, the service and food are poor. The staff is unpleasant; it feels like being in a low-end cafeteria. The fries were extremely soggy and soaked in oil, served in a large bowl to share, as were the pâté rillettes served as a starter. The quality of the food is not commensurate with the price, which is still €30-40 per person. I do not recommend this place.
