29/09/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant, which was recommended to us by our weekend rental company. The cuisine is refined, featuring high-quality, seasonal ingredients. We highly recommend this restaurant.

27/09/2026: Absolutely exceptional! The salmon gravlax with its lemon cream was excellent! The pork ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender! The tiramisu was to die for! I highly recommend this place, and in my opinion, go now because very soon you'll have to book well in advance to have the pleasure of eating there! Bravo!

24/09/2026: It's a shame we can't give it a few more stars. Excellent restaurant. No complaints whatsoever. The welcome is friendly, the staff are smiling. Reasonable prices, pleasant atmosphere, and a wide selection on the menu. The dishes are delicious (if your dessert allows, ice cream or otherwise, don't hesitate to ask for whipped cream; it's one of the few restaurants that still offers homemade whipped cream, a real treat). I recommend this establishment without hesitation; in fact... we'll be back.

02/10/2026: Delicious and hearty from start to finish. The pulled marinated pork belly was a bold choice, and I'd definitely order it again. The Maroilles sauce went perfectly with the crispy fries. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed until closing time. (See photo)

08/07/2026: While traveling in Paris, we stumbled upon this Cafe because our son wanted to have a small meal. What really stood out was the exceptionally friendly customer service from the lady at this Cafe. She went above and beyond to make our entire family feel welcome, offering free water for all of us on a hot Paris summer, even though it was only 1 of us who ordered something. Our son ordered a Poke bowl, which was good, but could have been improved a bit with fresher ingredients. It seems like they use canned Mango pieces, as opposed to freshly cut Mango pieces. All in all, good meal, but small improvements can go a long way. Thank you for the warm hospitality and best regards.

04/07/2026: A really nice little restaurant. The food was high quality and delicious. The portions were more than generous. I highly recommend it.

05/09/2026: I ate a Tajine with sausage in this place and it gave me food poisoning. I was feeling healthy and hungry before going to this restaurant and then after I went to bed this whole thing started so I assume that food is the culprit. My friends that got a steak and burger were fine. I couldn’t hike the next day and had to pay $450 to get an uber to catch up with my friends. I even had awful stomach ache the following days.

01/10/2026: A huge disappointment considering the restaurant's excellent rating. I was expecting much better. The bread and fries seemed mass-produced and, unfortunately, I didn't find them tasty. The meat, for its part, was really bland: it wasn't particularly bad nor particularly good, but it clearly lacked character and flavor. Ultimately, the relationship between the restaurant's reputation and what I ate was quite disappointing. I don't really understand the high rating given my experience. The only positive point was the friendly and pleasant welcome. Personally, I don't particularly recommend this restaurant and I probably won't be going back.

12/10/2026: Excellent welcome, the place is warm and inviting, the tables are well-spaced, the dishes are beautifully presented and excellent, and the service is attentive. Nice wine list. The only downside was that the bread wasn't fresh, bordering on stale, even though it was late in the day, around 8:30 pm.

20/09/2026: A first for us last night. We loved this restaurant! The welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable, the owner and servers kind, responsive, and professional. And above all, because that's what really matters in a restaurant, the meat was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection! We're not afraid to say it was the best we've ever had for such a great price. Congratulations to the chef-owner, you truly delighted us. We opted for the "butcher's special" with the hanger steak (and the impressive selection of desserts on the menu). I'm eager to introduce this to my friends and family. We don't live nearby, but we'll definitely be back soon. Thank you and well done to everyone, what a fantastic job! 🤩

05/10/2026: Restaurant... the price is a joke considering the meal... 130 euros, their set menu is a real rip-off... the food is spread out to give an impression of grandeur... (130 euros for 3 chicken thighs and a handful of who-knows-what.) and there were 5 of us. A mango juice for 6 euros (bad luck, we saw the bottle from the shopping center)... in short, as a connoisseur, avoid it... if you want value for your money, go to a real gourmet restaurant!

04/10/2026: I was looking for a good place for a decent cassoulet, and I ended up at Le Pailleron. The welcome was pleasant, the service quick... a lovely, very good Lyonnaise salad preceded my much-anticipated dish: the cassoulet! The casserole arrived, full and appetizing. However, in my opinion, the sauce was too acidic and detracted from the richness of the dish... and, again in my opinion, the beans were too firm... but that's just my opinion! That didn't stop me from finishing my meal 😊
