15/12/2025: I've only known this restaurant for a short time and I go there often for their pizzas, which are truly excellent. This time, I tried the pasta dishes and the salmon and burrata salad: a real treat! Beautifully presented, served in a bread bowl which was delicious. The portions are generous and the quality is definitely there. On top of that, the two owners are very kind. I don't usually leave reviews, but this one was well deserved. I recommend it 100%! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

19/06/2026: Avoid at all costs! A tourist trap that's dangerous to your health A dreadful experience from start to finish. We came to eat as a couple, and the result was catastrophic: Deplorable freshness and cuisine: The mussels (Marinière dish) were completely bland, mushy, and mealy. Even worse, an abnormal number of flies were swarming over the dish. As a result, my colleague and I suffered from severe stomach aches almost immediately after leaving the table. Everything pointed to spoiled products. The shrimp, meanwhile, were served barely lukewarm. Nonexistent hygiene: Seeing the waitress petting dogs on the terrace and then immediately serving plates without washing her hands is simply unacceptable for a restaurant. Service and ambiance: An immeasurable wait time (20 to 30 minutes for simple mussels and fries and a very basic crepe). Don't be fooled by the location: the setting is nothing special, you can barely see the sea. In short, a pure tourist trap that relies solely on its proximity to the Chassiron lighthouse. Avoid it if you value your health.

02/06/2026: The restaurant is well located. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The waiter was irritated, bordering on rude, because I asked him about the prices of wines by the glass and some information about the wines served (there was no wine list). In fact, he never came to our table again. The enamelware was damaged in several places, which is a shame. The mussels in cheese sauce were good, but the marinière sauce was bland. The restrooms were clean with original decor, but the sink was too cramped.

24/06/2026: I really was so impressed and delighted by this charming restaurant. I can't think of one bad thing. The food was fantastic-- fresh, local, authentic and clean French cuisine. The garden was a beautiful oasis and the town is an easy and beautiful drive from Le Mans. I can't wait to come back!! I will fly back from America for one more dinner here!

12/07/2026: Le Port de By Chez Cécile is a lovely, rustic establishment on the banks of the Saône. It offers high-quality, generous portions of traditional regional cuisine, such as frogs' legs or fresh fried fish, which we enjoyed in the shade of the plane trees. Good value for money.

05/07/2026: First time at Port de By and we'll be back! We had a lovely evening. The terrace under the trees is very pleasant, the service is perfect and unpretentious, and the food was excellent, with high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend it!

12/04/2026: We celebrated our wedding on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Everything was perfect! From the aperitif to the excellent meal, the cake and the wedding cake were beautifully done!!! The welcome was warm, the service was always with a smile, we will definitely be back....A big thank you to Stéphanie for her kindness, her smile, and her professionalism.

She was very helpful, readily available, polite, and kind, and she showed great patience with some customers, including myself. It was a pleasure, as others don't have the same level of professionalism. I wish her continued success and hope management will thank her.

11/06/2026: A charming bistro bathed in natural light thanks to its glass roof. The brasserie-style dishes are well-prepared with flavorful ingredients (Aubrac beef). Impeccable and attentive service. Excellent value for money.
