10/05/2026: Disappointed...The beef advertised on the menu was actually just a single skewer with 4 sad pieces of meat fighting on it...not very tender either...the Chinon wine was actually Cour Cheverny...the homemade fries were good though, as was the tatin.

02/07/2026: A wonderful discovery just steps from the neighborhood. We had a delightful time at a beautifully set and very welcoming table.
The cuisine is outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the asparagus risotto, presented with great finesse on a modern black plate. The ingredients are fresh, and each dish is plated with care.
This is a must-visit for those who appreciate good food in a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

01/07/2026: For us, a stay in Bagnoles-de-l'Orne without having lunch at Le Comptoir is unthinkable.
For the view of the lake, of course, but not only that.
The staff is welcoming and efficient.
We've tried different dishes and desserts and have never been disappointed.
It's easy to park nearby, which is a bonus.
