31/08/2026: We went here for dinner yesterday based on several recommendations (from other guests at our accommodation and especially from Google Maps) and were absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly delicious, and the value for money was the best we've found in the area so far. We had mussels in white wine broth and tarte flambée, as well as a superb dessert. The service was incredibly friendly and fast. We were lucky to get a table, as we arrived on the off-chance as soon as the restaurant opened in the evening (7 pm). So, a reservation is highly recommended. Good places attract good people, and apart from us, everyone else there was a local, which speaks for itself.

18/08/2026: Never disappointed. We've been coming here forever, and I never thought to leave a review. We love it! For family celebrations, a romantic dinner, or a meal with friends, we know we'll always eat very, very well. When we come with 25 people, everyone is delighted. And it's always beautifully presented. And, yes, victims of their own success, you sometimes have to wait when it's busy. It's the price of fame, and patience isn't everyone's strong suit. An extra star for the revisited Dame Blanche with its chocolate sauce that you can add as much as you like (but it's so good that you'll end up with it all 😉).

17/09/2026: It's excellent!!! I had the chef's pizza, and I've rarely eaten such a good pizza. I highly recommend it!

05/09/2026: What a pleasure to relax in this restaurant! The manager is incredibly kind and welcoming, and his waitress is always smiling and warm! The manager roasts his own coffee. They make a fabulous mint green tea, bursting with flavor (Moroccan style). Cigar lovers are also welcome, as they import Cuban cigars (hand-rolled, of course). Great wine cellar! 🔥🔥

21/02/2026: First of all, if I could give it six stars, I would, because no other shawarma comes close, and when Marwa is closed, finding another caterer that can make me so happy is impossible. Each bite is an explosion of flavor; I can't even describe the joy. I could eat it anytime, whether I'm hungry or not, but my love for it is truly endless. The manager is welcoming, warm, and kind. Everything is homemade, and the portions are more than generous, so I can't wait to go back.

29/07/2026: Back in Digne-les-Bains after four years, I returned to Smack with the same pleasure. The quality is still there: the pan bagnat, the Alpin, the ice cream… everything is excellent! Not to mention the waitress, always so smiling and welcoming 😊🙏. An address I recommend without hesitation ☀️

28/07/2026: After several years, I've had enough! Delivered pizzas are lukewarm, and they even charged me for chili oil. We drove 5km, and it's no better... Unknown thin crust, unknown cooking method, sometimes even an unknown order left on the pass... These young people seem to need training... Hygiene is also a priority; a knife needs washing, you don't serve an entire shift with a dirty blade... And that's not all, let's not go into detail, including the price list... Let's drive another 3km to Saint-Brieuc. Case closed!

14/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. We waited an hour and a half without any information about our order. Having received no response, we had to go to the store ourselves, where we waited even longer before we could collect our order. The lack of organization is blatant. The most regrettable aspect is that the manager left young employees to handle such a complicated situation on their own. Seeing them running around under immense pressure while their manager was absent is truly unacceptable. On the other hand, I want to commend the young delivery driver apprentice. Despite it being his first few days on the job and a very difficult situation, he remained polite, courageous, and did everything he could to satisfy the customers. It's thanks to employees like him that the situation didn't get even worse. And it's primarily thanks to him that I'm giving a one-star review. I hope this feedback will prompt management to review its organization and, above all, to better support its teams.

15/09/2026: Hello, We first came in June and were very disappointed by the attitude of a waitress: no smile, no friendliness, a cold and unpleasant demeanor from beginning to end. My son accidentally spilled a drink, and instead of showing even a modicum of understanding, we clearly sensed her annoyance. At that point, I even wondered what she was doing in a customer-facing role. Today, my partner and I returned, thinking things might be better. Unfortunately, it was the same story. We simply asked her for something, politely, with an "excuse me" and a "please," but we were met with the same unpleasant and haughty attitude. To top it all off, my partner got up to get some Parmesan cheese, and this same waitress came back and verbally attacked him in front of everyone, making a huge scene, even going so far as to say, "This is my restaurant." If this is indeed "her restaurant," then she should introduce us to the real owner so we can discuss directly with him how customers are treated. We are customers; we don't expect to be treated like royalty, simply with respect, politeness, and professionalism. Friendliness and a smile shouldn't be optional in a service industry. After two such unpleasant experiences, we won't be returning. Perhaps it would be better to change careers if interacting with customers is so difficult. We were very disappointed by this welcome and attitude.

11/09/2026: Restaurant owners are lamenting the drop in customers. But here's the bar where we regularly have a drink on the terrace. Today at 4 p.m., the rather unfriendly bartender told us they were out of coffee, that the machine was off. Obviously, we knew what was going on. Too bad for him and his establishment, because we had planned to come for couscous this week with the family. We'll have it elsewhere, and goodbye to this utterly inconsiderate place. If you refuse to serve coffee and hot drinks, you lose customers for your restaurant. You need to use your head.

02/08/2026: Homemade kebab meat cooked over a wood fire and excellent homemade fries. And the owner is always fantastic...

10/09/2026: All the food is great, both savory and sweet. However, I had a bad experience for the first time with an employee named Nathalie. I chose a hot snack and started to head towards the register when I heard her ask, "Hot or cold?" "Oh, she's already left," she replied. "Well, no, Ms. Nathalie, I didn't leave as you say. I simply moved forward to allow your other, much more pleasant colleagues to do their jobs and keep the line of customers moving." When you want to make a comment, Ms. Nathalie, do it discreetly or not at all. You give a bad impression, and besides, you seem delighted to be working. It's frightening.

29/08/2026: Well done! While on holiday here for a week, we came every day for bread and sandwiches, and we weren't disappointed at all. Being in the trade, I can tell you this bakery is worth the trip. The staff is very welcoming and the products look delicious. Thank you!
