06/02/2026: We dined at this charming restaurant the day before yesterday. The service was impeccable, the staff gracious, and the atmosphere refined, très élégant. The cuisine and wine were exquisite, with a beautiful truffle selection, parfaitement exécutée. Two excellent bottles of wine completed a most agreeable evening. We shall certainly return and make this a regular adresse.

14/03/2026: We had the best experience at this bar in Paris. The food was so good, definitely you should try the duck or the kangourou and King Arthur was the best waiter, he explained every dish from the menu with so much passion.

09/03/2026: I went with friends to the Hervé Lechable concert, a tribute to Georges Brassens. During the intermission, we had dinner and received a very warm welcome in the back room. The food was excellent; I highly recommend the "Soupe à la Grimace" (a type of soup), the tuna tartare, and the prawn skewer, accompanied by a bottle of Merlot. Cheers! 🦅

25/02/2026: A truly lovely place! After a disappointing and overpriced experience at the Center Parcs restaurant, we were looking for a restaurant in Casteljaloux. We stumbled upon this charming restaurant. The welcome and service were top-notch, and the food was a real treat—finally, something homemade! 🙂 And the bill was very reasonable. I wish you many more customers. We'll definitely keep your address.

21/03/2026: The food at L'Esperance is excellent; the ingredients are high quality, and the cuisine is delicious. I also appreciate the choice of tableware, which adds a nice touch. It might seem like a small detail, but it contributes to the overall experience. The presentation of the poultry was quite traditional. The biggest drawback for me is the restaurant's ambiance: the harsh white lighting is rather stark and could be dimmed, but more importantly, the acoustics are poor when the dining room is busy. It has a canteen-like feel and could benefit from being more furnished and decorated (furniture, rugs, a screen, etc., to help dampen the sound). That's all it needs to make the restaurant a must-try, in my opinion, because the food is truly excellent!

12/03/2026: I discovered Le Dragon Doré in 2014, and since then the owners have maintained the quality of their cuisine and service. The food is homemade. The buffet is varied, generous, and replenished throughout the service. Prices have remained relatively stable, and the value for money is excellent. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant has a limited capacity. I will continue to warmly recommend this restaurant.

26/02/2026: Honestly, the service was incredibly fast, the quality was amazing, and I loved the flavors. I ordered the rice in broth (it was to die for), the chicken (incredibly good), the yassa sauce (magnificent), and the side dish with tomatoes (even that was delicious). And the chili: I love a bit of heat, and this was seriously hot, I almost cried 😂 but I loved it. P.S.: Even the ginger candy that came with the dish was excellent XD

08/02/2026: I am an American wandering the streets of Paris. One of the interesting things I discovered, which shouldn't be a surprise, but Paris has ethnic neighborhoods (again, just like every other big city). As I was wandering I started to notice quite a few African-themed restaurants. Obviously France did more than their share of colonization, including Africa, so this shouldn't be a surprise. ANYWAY. I have not had a lot of exposure of African cuisine and I figured I might as well stop and have something. So I stopped at Osé African Cuisine. I would classify Osé as a fast-casual restaurant. A number of bowl options (including S/M/L options) and some sides. I only needed a snack, so I ordered the Alloko, which are basically plantain fries. They are very good. Kind of blackened and carmalizes. And they came with 3 dipping sauces. Red, green, and yellow. Just understand that yellow is the HOT one. I'm not scurred of hot sauces in general. The yellow is delicious, but legit hot. Nose running hot. Green and red are good, but I kept on going back to the yellow and punishing myself. Anyhoo. Give African cuisine a try. And if you're around Osé, give them a shot.
