01/08/2026: My colleagues and I had a wonderful time at Fonétic. We booked in advance for dinner for four. The chef and waitress were very friendly, the food was excellent, but the highlight was definitely the menu written entirely phonetically! Quite a puzzle, but we had a good laugh reading it 😄 We highly recommend this restaurant!

13/07/2026: Wonderful place! 😍 Pizza Tartuffo is amazing, long live real truffle shaved right in front of you! The tiramisu is super delicious! Special mention for the homemade Bellinis! We loved them! We highly recommend it 🥰

03/08/2026: A wonderful surprise! The plant-based cuisine is simply outstanding; congratulations to the entire team. We loved the ambiance, the dishes, and the impeccable service. Our server was thoroughly familiar with the menu and offered excellent advice regarding food intolerances. He welcomed us warmly and was attentive throughout the meal. There were three of us, which allowed us to try three different main courses and three different desserts. Special mention goes to the grilled eggplant, which was incredibly tender, the Thai red curry with seitan (a first for me, and a real discovery), and the bibimbap with its crispy vegetable topping. All three desserts on the menu were also delicious! A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience, both convivial and delicious.

26/08/2026: Fantastic! We had the student menu there, it was excellent and very generous! The staff are really welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I recommend the spicy sauce (you have to ask for it). Getting it there really makes a difference; the extra €2 is well worth it (€10.90 per person in total for a superb experience!). (They even give out appetizers 😋)

18/08/2026: We dined at Gibolin as a group of four, with a reservation, one evening during the week. We tried the beef tongue and roasted figs for starters, and the roasted veal breast and beef tataki for main courses (special mention to the veal sauce and the potatoes in the tataki, which were delicious, and the mustard seeds in the starters, a pleasant surprise). The portions were generous; we're quite active and ate our fill. For two set menus (starter + main), two individual main courses, and a bottle of wine, we paid €37 each. -> The service was very friendly and helpful with our wine selection, and the wine was excellent. A charming setting in the narrow streets of Arles, without being too crowded or noisy. The prices seemed fair for the quality of the food. The cuisine is very good and refined, typical of Arles (check local reviews to be sure). *Note that we were 5 minutes late and were called to confirm that we were still coming. We were expecting a somewhat rushed service, in order to make room for a second service, but ultimately we did not experience any problems with that.

The evening menu is the same as the lunch menu: €19 for a starter and main course, which is fairly affordable for Paris, although probably quite expensive for the neighborhood. The food was of rather mediocre quality; I felt sick less than an hour after finishing my meal. As for the atmosphere, it was nonexistent; the person who ran it seemed completely overwhelmed. The bar looked like a garbage dump, even though it was a Sunday evening and there were barely ten people in the restaurant.
