21/09/2026: The wine, beer, and food were all delicious. We were also notified in advance that there was a kitchen problem and we needed to change our reservation time. They even explained the menu in English to us, as we were unfamiliar with the language. Thank you very much. A friend recommended this place, and it was truly delicious. I especially recommend the octopus. The portions were generous, so we shared between the two of us. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to go again.

26/08/2026: Fantastic! We had the student menu there, it was excellent and very generous! The staff are really welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I recommend the spicy sauce (you have to ask for it). Getting it there really makes a difference; the extra €2 is well worth it (€10.90 per person in total for a superb experience!). (They even give out appetizers 😋)

05/10/2026: We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating our birthdays together. The reservation took a month to book, but it was definitely worth it. An exceptional and inexpensive meal. €55 for a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert. The portions were generous. They offered mini-fours as an appetizer, and a small plate of snacks before the starter. There was also a €15 children's menu. What can I say? It was excellent. The dishes were superb, flavorful, beautiful, and plentiful, and our daughter's chocolate fondant was divine! 😍 In five years in the area, we hadn't yet found a good restaurant. We've finally found it, and we will definitely be back. P.S.: The chef is incredibly kind and made our daughter laugh a lot. :) Thank you for this lovely experience.

18/09/2026: I went last year with my partner, and we happened to stumble upon this restaurant. The waiter didn't know English, and we dont speak French, but we somehow managed to understand each other. He recommended the house cocktail, which to be honest, I don't even remember what it had except for home-made prunes, and that it was absolutely delicious. We opted to have one of the set menus each, and everything was delicious, and the portions were quite large. Everything was exceptional, from the service, to the food, to the recommendations. If I were to go again, I would tell them to just choose everything for me and trust that what I eat is going to be phenomenal.

28/09/2026: One of the island's must-visit restaurants. A small dining room with only 26 covers, so reservations are highly recommended (don't hesitate to use the waiting list on Zenchef). In a beautifully decorated setting, a team of passionate chefs welcomes you with a menu featuring 100% fish (except for desserts). The menu is thoroughly explained, detailing both the ingredients (locally caught) and their preparation. And speaking of preparation, you can sense this team's enormous desire to explore, experiment, and surprise. Prepare yourself for a delightful culinary journey. If I were to offer a single comment (a suggestion would be presumptuous coming from a novice like myself), it would be that sophistication is pleasing, but sometimes simplicity pays off too.

22/09/2026: I spent a few days on vacation in Paris, and this restaurant was near our hotel. I went on a Saturday around 10:30 pm, and they had no problem serving us at that hour. I ordered pasta and dessert to go, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pasta was spectacular, and the tiramisu was unbeatable. It's a shame it was our last night in Paris; we definitely would have gone back. The staff who served us were also incredibly friendly. A dark-haired woman behind the bar made sure we received excellent service, even though I barely speak French. Another young man who was also with her had a smile on his face the whole time. It's a charming place with people who are passionate about their work.

14/09/2026: We were in Paris with the family. My son and I are celiacs, so we were able to eat everything. Excellent value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices and good food. A great touch of Italian style.

03/10/2026: Italian restaurant offering only pasta or meat dishes. And not just spaghetti bolognese, but more elaborate fare. Recommended for adults rather than children and teenagers. Excellent quality. But the prices reflect that, of course 😅

29/08/2026: We had our last lunch in Paris at Astair, and I’m so glad we chose this place. It’s inside Passage des Panoramas, one of those beautiful covered passages in Paris that I honestly never knew existed before this trip. Because of our tour guide, we walked through several of them, including Passage Jouffroy and Passage Verdeau. They became our shortcuts whenever we were going somewhere, especially when it was so hot outside. They are so beautiful, with all the small shops, cafés and restaurants inside. Definitely something worth experiencing when you’re in Paris. Astair itself is really pretty and has a very nice French bistro feel. I loved the circular bar in the middle of the restaurant. The place feels chic and very Parisian, but still comfortable and relaxed. We had the French onion soup, escargots, côte de bœuf and profiteroles. Everything was very good, but the escargots were my favorite. They were so buttery and garlicky that I honestly could have ordered another plate. The onion soup was also delicious and comforting, the beef was cooked well and generous enough to share, and the profiteroles were the perfect way to end the meal. The service was also exceptional. Tia, our server, was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. She really took good care of us. We also met the Filipino manager, and I feel bad that I can’t remember his name, but he was so warm and welcoming. It was nice meeting a fellow Filipino all the way in Paris. Such a lovely last meal before leaving the city. If you come here, take time to walk around the passages before or after lunch. We will definitely come back to Astair, especially for the escargots!

03/09/2026: Thursday evening, tired after work, I just wanted to go home, but that wasn't in my boss's plans. He was really keen to take me to his favorite restaurant. No choice, I value my job, so I couldn't refuse. Simply put, I already want to go back. You walk into this restaurant with a decor you won't find anywhere else, and you want to stay all evening. We were welcomed like royalty by Jiji, the very classy owner. The food is delicious, and with the warm atmosphere, you feel right at home. The food is amazing. I recommend the shrimp with homemade mayonnaise and the perfectly cooked sea bass fillet. It's simple: once you go, you'll definitely be back the next day. A must-try! 29/08/2026: Excellent!!! We dined at JJ's three nights in a row, where we discovered honest, intelligent, and refined classic cuisine. The homemade foie gras is exquisite, perfect, unsurpassable. The meats, the sea bass, the ravioli... everything is delicious. A fine selection of wines, too. Excellent service, very friendly and efficient, in a very welcoming atmosphere.
