28/06/2026: I'm sad because it's usually a nice place, one of the few real bars in downtown Carcassonne, and a true community hub for people of all ages and nationalities. The atmosphere is cool, the beer is very good, and it's generally lively, even on Sundays, weekdays, and in winter. I've been there several times since I've lived in Carcassonne and I've always enjoyed it. However, today I almost didn't recognize the place: the staff were incredibly unpleasant, bordering on insulting. We really felt unwelcome (even though we were in a group and the bar was half empty). I don't understand it, but this is the kind of experience that permanently damages a place for you, and I won't be going back, nor will the people I brought... It's a shame, because this is also how the city center slowly dies or becomes a purely touristy place 😕 I hope they just had an off day; for me, it's, unfortunately, quite enough

15/05/2026: The rooms are fine. We had a double superior room which had a very large bed. The bed is very soft, though. It just depends on what you personally prefer. The toilet is extremely low, and if you are over 1.75 meters tall, you can no longer stand in the shower. The bath is also very small.

There were about thirty of us, and the organization was impeccable from start to finish. The buffet was excellent and very generous: appetizers, starters, main course, cheese, dessert, accompanied by wine, all of high quality. We had a very convivial, warm, and family-friendly time in a pleasant atmosphere. A big thank you also for the magnificent homemade cake, which was the perfect ending to this wonderful day. Thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and organizational skills. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for celebrating an event with family or friends!
