06/06/2026: We took a pastry to go here and ate it on a bench outside, and it was maybe one of the best pastries I've ever had! Very fresh, real vanilla, absolutely lovely. Highly reccomend getting it!

19/01/2026: This was a great find as we enjoyed the Mille Feuille (wonderful cream) and the pistachio tartelette with raspberry. The prices are so reasonable. There is one table to sit which was available for us. Very nicely decorated. The lady was so sweet: very open and spontaneous.

12/05/2026: Disappointed with this coffee shop/roastery. I've known this place for 20 years, but I've been coming less and less often to sit down because it's always too crowded due to social media... it's too noisy, not pleasant at all. I still used to come to buy coffee beans, though, because I thought the quality was excellent. But recently I found a pebble in a bag of Costa Rica coffee I had bought. As you can see in the photos, it's bigger than the beans; I was worried it might break my Hario grinder. I contacted the establishment by email; I was ready to go back and show them in person, but their response was that this is a very rare occurrence, and it's not dirty because it was roasted at a high temperature… So they don't even want to check what the pebble looked like (the contact form on their website doesn't allow you to attach photos, so they haven't seen what it looks like), nor do they offer a coffee exchange. Despite him saying it wasn't dirty, it certainly didn't look clean. There was still about 50g left in the bag, but I didn't want to drink any more. (Plus, this time the roast level was really poor; you can see they were roasted very differently? Some were well-done, others not...) It's a shame, but I'll never buy coffee here again. I can't trust them anymore.

02/06/2026: We arrived after descending the Galibier; it was about to close, and they gave us food. Excellent pasta and good beer too.

11/06/2026: Poppd in here just after doing the weekly shop next door, at Lidl.. smelt the freshly baked produce as I was loasing the car, and could not resist.. lots of free parking, disabled parking spaces right next to shop as well. Outside tables so yiu can sit in the sun, or just eat/ drink inside if you prefer. Lunch time is busy, but plenty of assistants serving. The lady who served us was very helpful, polite and jolly.. I highly recommend you try this place,everything from fresh bread, to pizza, confectionery and coffee. Brilliant.

23/05/2026: Disappointed by the salmon mimosa sandwich: there was hardly any salmon in the sandwich, it was really skimpy for the price. The bread was good, but the filling was completely lacking.

24/05/2026: Run away. We arrived and ordered an aperitif from a rather unfriendly waitress. We had clearly stated that we wanted to have pasta carbonara after the aperitif, at a leisurely pace, with the intention of also ordering wine afterward. The cocktails were served, and then the main courses arrived immediately afterward, barely enough time for a toast. We pointed out to the second waitress that the service was extremely fast and that it wasn't what we had requested. Her response, in a haughty tone: "You should have specified that earlier." Which, of course, had been done to her colleague when we placed our order. Beyond the obvious lack of communication between the staff, we were particularly shocked by the way this waitress spoke to us, with blatant bad faith and a complete lack of professionalism. Regarding the food: the pasta was far too overcooked, swimming in a bland, tasteless cream sauce—and, most importantly, it was egg-free, which is questionable for a "carbonara" dish in a restaurant claiming to be Italian and traditional—and finished with greasy bacon and dry Parmesan. A real disappointment. Between the unpleasant service, the increasingly awkward atmosphere, and dishes that were anything but Italian, we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. For an establishment that claims to serve traditional Italian cuisine, this is unfortunately an insult to the recipes and values ​​of Italian gastronomy. Deplorable.

23/05/2026: We were very disappointed with this restaurant. The salad was extremely light for the price, and the pizzas were mostly just dough with tomato sauce and minimal toppings. The ingredients were of poor quality. We are big fans of Italian food, and this restaurant is nothing like an Italian restaurant.

13/03/2026: Lunch as part of a festive menu was delicious, original, flavorful, generous, and very good—in short, thank you for this wonderful experience. The staff was very professional and friendly. The decor was lovely and cozy. Go without hesitation.

13/03/2026: As part of the restaurant's festive events, the menu item at Kastelberg was described as: "Celery ravioli with mushroom duxelles, finely shredded smoked eel in a vibrant ginger broth." The dish I received contained only two slices of celery sandwiched between other vegetables. When I asked where the shredded eel was, I was bluntly told that it was cooked in the broth. In that case, the more accurate description would be "eel-infused broth," not "shredded eel in broth." The description clearly implies the presence of fish on the plate. No compensation or alternative was offered, leaving a distinct impression of false advertising and a misleading description of the final product. It's a shame, because the main course was decent, and the average dessert resembled a piece of mass-produced fruit mousse cake. Edible, but nothing special; I didn't detect the promised cardamom flavor. Overall, I was disappointed by this restaurant for the first time.

15/05/2026: The galettes and crêpes are delicious, generous, and made with quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the service: a warm welcome, a smiling and attentive team from start to finish. The setting is pleasant and friendly.

05/05/2026: Ate at this restaurant this evening. As a lone female, I felt very welcome and comfortable here: mix of professionals eating out after a day at the office, families and groups of friends which gave a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. Extremely quick service. Delicious crepe and glass of rosé. Highly recommend. One happy customer!
