21/08/2026: The setting (terrace) and the service are impeccable. The chicken liver pâté is exceptional, absolutely divine. I had some doubts about the frozen frogs' legs. They're very good for frozen frogs' legs, but incomparable to fresh frogs' legs for purists and lovers of Dombes frogs' legs. Regarding the price, it seems excessive for frozen food. I discussed this with the chef, who was kind enough to come and see us at our table. Overall, a good time, but it's important to clearly state on the menus that the frogs' legs are frozen. 24/07/2026: The pizzas were truly excellent, very, very good. However, I found them a bit pricey (but that's just my opinion): €65 for two pizzas and two 50cl Picons. The owner offered me the extras for free, but I still think it's a bit expensive. But the pizzas were 🍕 🍕 very, very good. The atmosphere was a little cold. Visited July 20, 2026.

27/08/2026: What a shame that table is facing the serving hatch on one side and the toilet entrance on the other! Don't forget to close that serving hatch; customers aren't obligated to participate in everyone's moods in the kitchen, like the chef wiping the plate he's about to prepare with his hand... As for the toilet door, install a bellhop so it closes automatically, or simply remove that central table for two.

18/08/2026: Nice place, decent food, and the waitress even made a nice effort for our autistic daughter. I recommend it.

01/09/2026: Ordered an XL pizza and received a regular one. On the phone, the delivery driver wouldn't admit his mistake and told me it was an XL, lol, what a rip-off!! And the time before that, I ordered a goat cheese and honey pizza, but there was no honey in it, oh well... But at least that time I received the size I was charged for. Furthermore, we've ordered about thirty times this year and never received anything free. The value for money is very average.

31/08/2026: You can go there without hesitation. We were lucky enough to try the new menu. The dishes are absolutely exquisite, featuring local ingredients. My husband and I opted for the set menu (starter, main course, dessert). The place is quiet and unique, located on a small street in Bergerac. You can eat inside or on the terrace. The service is top-notch, and their professionalism is evident. The team is dynamic and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

21/08/2026: This restaurant, located in the old town of Bergerac, is very cozy, and the waitress is very welcoming. The menu is small but features local and homemade products. Congratulations to the chef for making my son appreciate Périgord cuisine. We left completely satisfied. I highly recommend it; a very good team.

21/04/2026: We celebrated my daughter's 50th birthday at Rive Gauche with 13 adults and a baby. Everything was perfect: the food, the service, the wines, and excellent value for money. We will definitely return.

09/08/2026: An empty terrace… and now we understand why! 😅 If I could have given zero stars, I would have without hesitation. There were eight of us, and naturally, we took four tables so we could sit down and enjoy our drinks in peace. To our great surprise, the cashier criticized us for occupying "so many tables," even though the terrace was practically empty… and, more importantly, there were eight of us ready to order. Faced with this particularly unfriendly welcome, we ultimately decided to leave… and give our drinks to the competition. 🙃 In light of this experience, we unfortunately understand the poor rating for this Paul. It's all the more disappointing when you're talking about a major chain like Paul Lille: what a shame that a single employee can give such a bad impression of the establishment and potentially cause a significant loss of revenue simply because of her behavior. There were eight of us ready to order, and we left without buying anything. What a great business move! 👏 It's a shame, because we really expected much better from such a major brand.

08/08/2026: A deserted terrace on a Saturday afternoon in August should have tipped me off... A family of eight sat down at two tables, and the (not-so-young) cashier complained that I'd taken up too much space when we ordered 😳. Granted, she was alone at the till, and having to prepare and serve ice cream and other treats by herself must have intimidated her (in fact, on closer inspection, only espresso cups were lying around on the tables...). But in that case, hire more staff (and maybe another cashier...) if you want to make any money in the summer! Especially since there's no shortage of ice cream shops on this square.

19/08/2026: We went there today with my mother. Despite the variety of products, there were many negative points; many are not recommended. First, the tongs are plastic, making it difficult to pick up the food. Then, the ham had more fat than meat, the sushi was tasteless, the chocolate churros had raw dough inside, and the shrimp and whelks were not as good. The salami was lukewarm. The staff was very friendly and frequently came to collect the dirty dishes from the tables. Overall, the restaurant was very clean.

21/07/2026: Their mixed grill was to die for! Loved every bite. It's a very cosy restaurant with no frills at all. Service was efficient, rapid and nice too. Prices are good for old Nice. Recommended to all meat lovers (the roasted pork was sublime).

18/07/2026: As a vegetarian, I had fewer options but my food was delicious. I had the vegetarian plate which had yummy mashed potatoes. My husband has the meat plate and he also enjoyed it. The waiters were attentive and kind. The location was near the beach. My husband and I had a wonderful evening!
