02/09/2026: Broadly speaking, cocktail culture in Europe lags behind the U.S. (we live in NYC), so it tracks that our previous trips to Paris yielded mediocre experiences. Well, things have progressed quickly since only a couple summers ago. Historically the cocktails have been overtly sweet, no doubt catering to the local Parisian palate. D'accord! Experimental has birthed an oasis for cocktail novices and aficionados alike. The signature cocktails are thoughtful, inventive, and most importantly balanced. All the classiques are available as well. Martinis - as simple as the ingredients are - are highly personal and easily misunderstood by those who do not imbibe in them. We were delighted to find that Experimental crafts the most brilliant classic martinis, and breathes new life into them with some new rifts of their own. The music is also top-notch for the vibe check. Take a stroll after dinner and treat yourself to a très excellente nightcap! 🍸

29/08/2026: We had dinner one evening. Very good food and a quaint place. Excellent experience.

11/07/2026: We came this evening (Saturday, July 11, 2026). Everything was perfect in terms of the welcome and service. However, Mrs. Vatel's son-in-law (her daughter Cathia's husband) was disrespectful to the customers! We were outside still eating when he went out to see his colleagues and let out a fart without even apologizing. It's shameful, and no gesture of remorse was made at the register, nor was there any apology. I am very disappointed.

10/06/2026: We ate lunch, the food is really good, only attitude a little bit lack of understanding. Server told us to speak French only, tourist could not learn languages of every country. They are in hospitality business and would be nice if they know at least basics of English like water and etc.

22/05/2026: EXCEPTIONAL The food, the service, the setting. Everything is perfect. A welcome escape. Even if the expression is a bit overused these days: "Thank you for this moment." We will definitely be back. UPDATE 22/05/2026 Still as exceptional as ever… this time on the terrace for the business lunch menu. For €69, it's incredibly generous, very well cooked, and the service is impeccable. A fantastic place!!!

22/05/2026: A second visit to this haven of peace, a unique and high-quality stay for an enchanting interlude. Pleasant, attentive, and discreet service. Finally, a gourmet restaurant that will delight even the most discerning palates (with a vegetable garden and herb garden on the premises).

25/06/2026: Excellent place! The recipes are made fresh on-site, varied, seasonal, and have a touch of the exotic. I've been 3-4 times already and highly recommend it! Suggestion: a system of reusable glass containers to reduce waste?

24/06/2026: Very, very good pizzas and excellent value for money. The owner is very friendly and the pizzas are prepared quickly. I have nothing to complain about, I highly recommend them and I will definitely be back!
