14/09/2026: A meal for about forty people, some with disabilities (a few in wheelchairs), but also a significant number of caregivers. Some servers lost their patience when taking orders; the meat was served and eaten before the side dishes had even arrived. A bottle of wine was placed on the table for eight people, regardless of whether they ordered fish or meat. At the end of the meal: coffee, no tea. Not recommended for groups...

The overall condition of the restaurant is deteriorating; the staff are doing their best, but they're lacking a manager. The food is decent, but frankly, nothing special. The payment terminal hasn't accepted restaurant vouchers for several weeks.

10/09/2026: We came across this wonderful place by accident. The first day after arriving, we found it near our hotel, and it was a real find ❤️ The pizza here is incredibly delicious! We tried three at once: meat, pepperoni, and Hawaiian. All three were simply wonderful, very tasty dough and lots of toppings. I would like to separately mention the service. The staff is very friendly and attentive, everyone speaks English well. The food is brought quickly, and the place itself has a very pleasant and warm atmosphere. You can feel that they really care about their guests. And be sure to try the tiramisu! This is truly one of the most delicious tiramisu I have ever tried. Very delicate, everything is perfectly balanced, just wonderful. The carbonara pasta was also very delicious. I definitely recommend this place! It is very tasty, cozy, wonderful people and atmosphere. We were completely delighted and will definitely come back again ❤️

28/06/2026: Hi there, While I’m usually quick to complain, I don’t always take the time to share positive feedback, so here it is, My partner and I had the most wonderful lunch at Black Bass Hôtel, and I wanted to make sure the team knows how much we appreciated it. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely approachable. Which might sound like a given, but these days it’s increasingly rare and always worth acknowledging. Having tried several other spots in Annecy, Black Bass Hôtel sits firmly at the top. The food was excellent, Charlie’s service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was just right. Worth mentioning: after calling every 5-star hotel in Annecy (not a long list), they were the only ones still doing club sandwiches, a small thing perhaps, but that’s what I was specifically looking to eat that day 😂 A couple of details that also stood out: free parking, a refreshing contrast to the places charging up to €15 with no justification and, with temperatures hitting 37°C, the fact that they have air conditioning was very much appreciated. Thank you, Charlie, and the whole Black Bass Hôtel team! I’ll definitely be back!

18/05/2026: Located on the west side of Lake Annecy, the hotel offered rooms with excellent views of the lake and the mountains across the way, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. It was wonderful to be able to leisurely enjoy the magnificent view, which was even better than the view from the city center. When I needed to get around the city, I could take a city bus, ride a bicycle, or walk, as the buses ran quite frequently. Walking along the lakeside was particularly enjoyable as I could take in the scenery. The staff at the front desk, bar, restaurant, and fitness center were always friendly and smiling. In particular, on the last day, I had no choice but to make an unreasonable request due to transportation issues, but thanks to their willingness to help, I was able to resolve the situation successfully. I will never forget my experience at the Black Bath Hotel Annecy. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

30/08/2026: A true all-you-can-eat buffet for €13.80 per order at lunchtime in the heart of Paris—what more could you ask for? Just be careful with your orders; there are often omissions or extras, the extras being particularly problematic since you pay for the waste... but the waitress is flexible, so it's all good.
