26/07/2026: For three weeks this little pub became a regular haunt, as we rented an apartment on the Quai de Valmy, opposite. We have fond memories of the place, balmy evenings in May 2011, sat at a pavement table, or on the canal wall with a cool beer and wine, surrounded by people of the banlieue and visitors alike, playing music, picnic, pizza, it was blissful. The pub is extremely functional, few fripperies, just a hugely warm welcome from the staff and owner, great service with loads of humour, it's a wonderful pace to send an evening, or a casual drink. We had good times inside and out, though more out due to the wonderful weather at the time. It's a great place for watching the world go by, particularly during the evening rush-hour, and the low number of tourists makes this a genuine Parisian-neighbourhood experience. Even good when crowded, the good-natured bar-staff manage to get through the orders quickly, it felt at times as though our regular drink order was served almost before we were through the door. We're looking forward t our next opportunity to spend tie on the Canal, and to get back to our seats outside this groovy establishment.

10/05/2026: A remarkable experience at a high-end Italian restaurant. The prices are certainly high, but the quality of the dishes fully justifies the investment: each plate reveals a unique flavor, crafted with precision and finesse. The cocktails also stand out for their balance and creativity. The service is impeccable, with attentive, warm, and exceptionally professional waiters. A small complimentary aperitif at the start of the meal completes the welcome. The setting further enhances the charm of the experience: a beautiful garden, bisected by a canal, creates a peaceful and refined atmosphere. We didn't dine inside, but the space appeared equally elegant and refined. An ideal address for those seeking refined Italian cuisine, quality service, and an enchanting environment.

07/07/2026: They say that chance works in mysterious ways, and in this case, it perfectly applies to St Georges. We stumbled upon this crêperie by chance among the ten or so in Carnac, and what a find! Crispy, fluffy galettes, just as they should be, and perfect sweet crêpes! Finally, a crêpe maker who knows their craft and doesn't just throw any old batter on their griddle. Special mention goes to the Soubise sauce (which I discovered for the first time), the Breton sausage is generous, and the salted caramel is excellent. Thank you, and have a great season!

02/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome for our family dinner; the staff were friendly and attentive. The galettes and crêpes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and generously filled! Our children were also very well looked after (a big plus).

04/07/2026: This is a reputable company for its regular customers, who only pay when it suits them, except during special events. Don't count on them to take a phone order for delivery, because they'll keep you on hold. I was on hold for over 30 minutes before I hung up because it's a complete joke. Romain

07/07/2026: At Kuri' z, the menu is curiously not displayed outside. The service was inadequate: we were seated and then moved from a table ideal for an elderly person and a child (photos available). The rude young woman told us it was reserved, however, there was neither a table easel nor even shade. After about an hour and a half there, the customer was told it was a fictitious reservation, and we saw it remain empty until our departure at 10:30 pm. It's a shame. As for the food, the dishes were oversalted, the dessert made sickening by caramel on the ice cream, and the Polish origin of the meat was highly questionable (a small sign at the register, not outside, given the claimed ACHAHADA quality label). Should trust take precedence over GMO and antibiotic-laden meat? And to top it all off, there was leftover food. We asked the young man to pack it up for us twice, but he silently refused. Unacceptably, this resulted in severe digestive problems for everyone. We returned to our table the very next day, and the verdict was clear. It's a real shame!

22/06/2026: The service was generally not great, quite slow and not very attentive. The cocktails were really very good, no complaints there. However, the chicken tikka masala didn't taste the same as usual and I found it disappointing, not very flavorful.

03/08/2026: Very good restaurant/bar, friendly welcome. Even without a reservation, they found us a table for four despite it being busy that evening. Nice decor and very good food.

30/07/2026: It was perfect!! Parents and teens were delighted. A little away from the crowds, very stylish decor, impeccable service, excellent cuisine with generous portions for teenagers.
