We simply ate, but in a room built over 1200 years ago. A truly intense and moving experience.
Highly recommended.
02/03/2026: We discovered Domaine de l’Est d’Estagel thanks to a gift voucher we received for Christmas and used this weekend as a couple.
We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and we received a very warm welcome from beginning to end.
We will gladly return to try it for lunch, as the setting looks even more lovely during the day!

The owner is very welcoming and helpful: at first I didn't want any sauce, but she convinced me and I don't regret it at all, it was delicious and beautifully presented. The ingredients seem to be of very high quality. I highly recommend it!

03/03/2026: Hello, I booked a table for a birthday meal because of the good reviews I'd heard about the restaurant.
The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
This restaurant stands out from the usual fare, but you have to experience it for yourself. Everyone (there were 30 of us) left delighted with this somewhat unusual restaurant. It was a wonderful discovery.

01/06/2026: First stop on our route after landing. The area has several dining options, and we chose the Territoires de France restaurant. We found the food to be quite good, considering it was a rest stop. We ordered a cheese platter, a breaded cutlet with vegetables, a tub of strawberries, and a glass of white wine. The cheeses and the cutlet were quite good, but without a doubt, the best part was the tub of strawberries. For a quick and convenient stop, it's definitely recommended.

09/04/2026: The young lady who looked after us was certainly the owner. She gave us a very warm welcome. However, a young man, around thirty years old, was completely unmotivated to work, unfriendly, and not very smiley. We had chosen a hotel with an elevator specifically because of our minor health issues. It was out of order. Unfortunately, these things happen, but to make matters worse, the TV wasn't working either. So, this was more of a mediocre establishment, more like a two-star than a three-star.
30/03/2026: Very comfortable bedding, generous breakfast, and meals excellent value for money. We received a very warm welcome from the woman who greeted us and prepared breakfast.

26/04/2026: We're used to stopping at Café de l'Europe on the road to Lanne Barétous! Usually a good, inexpensive lunch!
This time, for a simple plate of food, we waited: 30 minutes to order plus another 40 minutes to be served! And the restaurant wasn't even full, far from it. When we asked what the problem was, the response was clearly meant to make us feel like we were being taken for a fool… Do you have to have a Basque accent to be treated with respect as a customer?

01/04/2026: A friend's cafe. It's located in a quiet area. They offer a daily lunch special using organic ingredients. I also love their matcha cheesecake for dessert. The staff are friendly and approachable.
27/02/2026: Excellent Japanese restaurant, just like in Japan. Delicious homemade dishes bursting with flavor. A limited menu, but everything is expertly prepared. The teas are very good. Takeout is available. A wonderful find. Reservations are recommended as it fills up quickly at lunchtime on weekdays.

20/04/2026: Great bar for Guinness and whiskeys in the city center. The terrace isn't very big, but the interior is. You can play darts and watch live sports.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, very pleasant.

If you are a novice to champagne and the world if wine you will enjoy it, if you are advanced you will learn something and try something new and unexpected in the world of grower champagne. Additionally, should you find yourself buying some extra bottles to take with you, you will enjoy stellar customer service! This place is a uninue in the world of wine, particularly in Paris. Merci merci merci! Unforgettable.
