05/09/2026: Honestly, it was awful from start to finish. The service wasn't great, despite the waiter's friendliness. And don't even get me started on the food: the undercooked frozen fries, the salad that looked like it came straight from a bag, the veal sauce that was probably just powdered veal stock, completely unseasoned and tasteless. The wine I initially ordered, a Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule, arrived in a glass that looked like grenadine, and of course, it was undrinkable plonk. I replaced it with a Côtes du Rhône, which was just as bad—plonk that probably came from a rotten box. I give it a zero. It's not a bistro, it's a tourist trap. I really don't understand how it's still possible to run a place like this today.

04/08/2026: Ordering five pieces of Comté cheese, each about 200g, cut into tiny chunks is absolutely terrible at Lehmann cheese shop, whereas a piece of the same weight cut lengthwise is much more presentable at the smaller Marcel cheese shop for the same price.

18/09/2026: Do I really need to mention the fries? They're delicious! And the burger? A delight: fresh, homemade burger bun, delicious sauce, fast service, and a decent menu with plenty of choices but not too long to be overwhelmed. The decor is original and very cozy, and the welcome is warm and the staff is cheerful.

21/09/2026: The staff were very pleasant and the service excellent. We had a lovely evening dining at this establishment, which is similar to many others, but... surprise! There was a back room... and it was quiet and sheltered from the street. We'll definitely be back as soon as we have the chance. 👍

17/08/2026: Disappointed by the experience. Given the positive reviews on Google, I was expecting a good pizza, but that wasn't the case at all. As an Italian, the pizza didn't convince me: the crust wasn't thin enough, there were too many toppings, it was more like a flatbread. The dining area is outdated, dark, and sorely lacking in atmosphere. A fresh coat of paint and renovations are needed. The hygiene also leaves much to be desired (sticky tables and pepper shakers, not very clean restrooms). I won't be going back. This is just my opinion, but I don't recommend it. ☹️😒

17/08/2026: A small, local spot with a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere and a menu of dishes and daily specials written on a chalkboard. The dishes were homemade, delicious, and very flavorful. A minor complaint about the ribeye steak, which arrived rare instead of medium-rare as requested. We were also slightly disappointed by the small size of the beef skewer for our main course (only three pieces of beef on the skewer), and the inexpensive bread. However, the fries were good and perfectly crispy, the Bernese sauce with the baked potato was very tasty, and the generous portion of salted caramel rice pudding provided a lovely touch of sweetness. The service was also very pleasant and quick.

11/08/2026: A quiet hotel with a beautiful view. Friendly staff. The place is a bit dated, but I like that. The room was clean, and the air conditioning was a real plus! The restaurant wasn't offering service on the terrace when we were there, which I would have liked. The menus were varied; the pepper casserole was very good, and the mashed potatoes with morels were truly delicious, rich, and flavorful. Note that we could hear trains passing quite loudly in our room for most of the night, so keep the window closed. Breakfast was fairly simple. Overall, it offers excellent value for money!
