26/05/2026: The man outside, Kai was very sweet. The beds however need to be turned and the air conditioner needs to be serviced.

26/05/2026: We stayed at Le Méridien Etoile and overall had a good experience. The hotel’s location is very central, and it is about a 20-minute walk to the Champs-Élysées. The neighborhood felt safe and comfortable, especially for walking around with a child. The hotel has a very large room capacity, and during our stay it was quite crowded because it was hosting a symposium. Despite the crowd, the staff still tried to be helpful and supportive whenever there was an issue. The only downside for us was that the rooms felt a little cold compared to the temperature we are used to. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

07/06/2026: A little disappointed with this place, even though the setting is nice. We ordered two Proseccos which arrived almost warm… The service was (very) slow and the tapas menu wasn't great… the atmosphere, however, was very pleasant.

03/06/2026: L'Embarcadère, a charming little restaurant on the banks of the Loire. The welcome and service were excellent; the waiters were friendly and pleasant. The food was generally very good, however, not everything was perfect. For starters, we had the gravlax salmon and foie gras, which were delicious, but the croutons served with them were hard and stale. Luckily, the bread was fresh. For our main course, we chose the pollack fish and chips. The portion was generous, the fish was fresh, and the sauce was good, but the fries were just "ordinary" (I suspect they were frozen). The atmosphere was normal, a bit noisy as we were all on the shaded terrace, enjoying the heat, while the main dining room was open. It's a shame we didn't have the option of eating in the air conditioning. I will probably return later this year to try the "winter" menu.

31/05/2026: SUPERB experience, just one minor point: far too much oil in both our dishes (perhaps a chef's mistake). But I'll be back! On the other hand, vaping should be banned on terraces just like smoking! I thank my table neighbor for poisoning me last night.

16/06/2026: A fantastic find, discovered with a friend. The restaurant is located on the banks of the Saône, the view is superb with the river less than 10 meters away—you practically dine with your feet in the water. The food is good, the setting is charming. The owner was kind enough to offer us a digestif at the end of our meal; this kind of thoughtful touch makes all the difference. We left wanting to go back.

15/05/2026: The hotel offers comfortable accommodations and excellent food. The only downside is the room on the second floor with no elevator (understandable, as it's an old but renovated building), making it difficult to carry luggage up. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Ideal hotel with a fantastic restaurant. We had booked the suite. Very large room with a large bathroom and separate toilet. There is no elevator, so you shouldn't have mobility issues. The restaurant is fantastic. We chose the most extensive menu with the wine pairing. Fantastic. Breakfast was very extensive and of extremely high quality. We will go back here next time. The very large garden is very beautiful, and you can have breakfast or dinner outside there in warm weather.

09/06/2026: I agree with many other reviewers, the coffee and croissants were wonderful. The waitress was very friendly, efficient, and spoke flawless English too. Obviously popular with the locals. We observed many customers being served their “usual” morning drink as soon as they sat down.
