05/07/2026: A disgrace. I work in the food industry, and while it was busy, the burger arrived cold, microwaved, and the meat stank to high heaven—literally, it was garbage. When we asked for it to be reheated, they replied, "Oh no, because it'll get soggy in the microwave." Even though it was already worse than soggy. I didn't even want dessert, it was so disgusting. It's shameful. The cook might as well close the kitchen if they're going to serve customers this rubbish. As for the service, a smile wouldn't cost anything. It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Run away!

09/07/2026: Tonight, for my birthday, I had the pleasure of discovering L’Escapade des Sens in Thiviers. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm, and the service impeccable. We enjoyed a five-course menu, accompanied by three amuse-bouches, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was as beautiful as it was flavorful. The servers were incredibly attentive, smiling, and very pleasant, and the pace between courses was perfectly controlled. A truly wonderful discovery, which I wholeheartedly recommend to all lovers of fine cuisine. A must-try!

04/07/2026: Re-tested and approved in July. Slightly too generous a portion, but absolutely top-notch from start to finish—a feast for the senses. The wine pairing was interesting; luckily, we only ordered one bottle for two people. Congratulations and best of luck!

09/02/2026: A delightful discovery. Dishes made with flavorful, delicious ingredients. The aromas and flavors allow you to fully appreciate each dish. The service was excellent, with a detailed explanation of every course. My only slight criticism was that the artwork on display didn't quite match the restaurant's overall quality. This is just my personal opinion.

23/07/2026: Incredible place, definitely worth the detour for the quality of its cuisine, the friendliness, and the expertise! Moreover, it's in a magnificent location, with a terrace overlooking the Creuse River and the lake of Bourg d'Hem. An experience not to be missed, especially considering the incredible price for the quality. Thank you again to the couple who go to such lengths to please their guests!

27/06/2026: Excellent place, I highly recommend it. The chef uses fresh produce, some of which comes from their own garden; everything is homemade, even the bread. Very welcoming staff.
