25/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, very good food, and very well located... what more could you ask for? Refreshing mocktail (well, lots of crushed ice...). Amazing burgers... we loved them... special mention to the burger buns... fantastic... (actually, everything else was great too ^^). Excellent ice cream dessert (Dame Blanche/Chocolat Liégeois)... the chocolate was excellent... The French toast was also excellent... And to top it all off, we had a sunset on the beach... Very friendly and fast service... reasonable price considering the quality (4 mocktails/4 burgers/3 desserts... €128). We recommend it 200%! ^^

18/04/2026: Hello, a huge thank you to Jean-Michel for taking such good care of us. He was fantastic, the service was perfect, and the welcome was perfect too. He was attentive, super friendly, and professional—a true server worthy of the name. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves; he deserves to be congratulated as he should be. Hoping to see him again as a head waiter or manager, he absolutely deserves it! 😌

10/05/2026: Unfortunately, there's not much positive to say about this establishment… very, very disappointed and very expensive for what's offered. The food: Two set menus are offered, one at €30 and the other at €50 for a starter, main course, and dessert. €5 less if you order a starter and main course or a main course and dessert. We chose the €30 menu and the €50 menu. The foie gras starter on the €50 menu was practically nonexistent: three tiny pieces barely vying for attention on the plate, and the quality was barely acceptable. The main course on the €50 menu, a beef Rossini, featured a mediocre cut of beef—tasteless, tough, and full of gristle. The foie gras on top was probably not foie gras. The side dishes were shameful in terms of quantity and lacked any special character. The €30 menu is unfortunately no better. You have to search for the cheese and potatoes in the starter, and the quality of the chicken in the main course is deplorable. We decided to order just one dessert, to savor every last bite and try to salvage the experience. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small pastries served with coffee) consisted of petit fours. We've never eaten anything so bad… it makes you wonder if the ingredients were even good anymore. The shortbread was definitely several days old and made with rancid butter. The atmosphere: Rather frosty when we were coldly informed that there was no children's menu and that "here, children eat like adults." At four years old, whether it's lemon chicken or beef Rossini, no, children don't eat that. And certainly not at the menu prices. They agreed to prepare half a plate of salmon crumble, which was simply placed on a plate, without sauce, without any flavor… It cost €10. From our perspective, children are not welcome. Nothing serious, but it needs to be said. In terms of comfort, many of the tables have a bar at shin level. This makes it impossible to pull up a chair and put your legs under the table. The owners may never have realized this, but it's a shame to eat in such an awkward position. Another minor drawback was the very noisy dining room. When it came time to pay, the bill was very expensive for what we received on our plates and the service. This was especially true when we were charged for a full menu when it was supposed to be a starter and main course. Unfortunately, we can't give this experience more than one star and will not be returning to this establishment. In response to the establishment's review: The response unfortunately demonstrates the establishment's lack of self-reflection. What is described above is factual. When something is good, you say so, and when it isn't, you say so too. Spending such a large sum in a restaurant only to have a bad experience is truly a shame and should be mentioned. We're not competitors, not even from the restaurant industry. However, we are bon vivants, good eaters, and appreciate fresh produce. Unfortunately, no one asked us how the meal went; we would have been happy to share our opinion with you in person.

09/06/2026: The artist, or rather, the craftsman of happiness... It is with great joy that I can count myself among those who have had the pleasure of discovering and frequenting this place. The owner is more than wonderful, the prices are quite reasonable, and the atmosphere is simply irresistible. There are many bars in Paris, but this one is undoubtedly a gem of conviviality among gems. If you find yourself in this place, take the time to relax and savor life; I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: A quaint, family-run boutique hotel exuding with character. Our tour group had a remarkable experience staying at this hotel. From the fast and organised check-in procedure greeted by their family dog, their home-cooked dinner and breakfast, and their personalised touch in every matter throughout our stay. The amenities and the facility, whilst old, holds a lot of history and character. This hotel is a near-perfect glimpse of French country-side hospitality.

13/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery last night in Obernai! An intimate and elegant restaurant with a warm and refined atmosphere. Our waiter was exceptionally classy: perfectly attentive without being intrusive—the service was impeccable. As for the food… a true explosion of flavors! Each dish was a surprise, a subtle balance of tastes and textures. Bravo and thank you to the Chef for this magnificent discovery. The wines, carefully paired with each course, were also a delightful surprise. The presentation and explanations for each glass added an extra touch to this already exceptional experience. Thank you again for this superb evening. We will gladly return.

The food was so good and so fresh !!! The wine amazing as well !!! We enjoyed our time there very much !! Authentic and local !!! Je vous remercies à la part des Canadiens !! ♥️

02/06/2026: A must-try restaurant in Castres, open for over 35 years and still just as good, especially the various couscous dishes. My favorite is the couscous with grilled chicken skewers and lemon.

19/05/2026: We were delighted by the welcome, the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the value for money. Our meal cost €55 for two people: drinks, two main courses (lamb couscous and a merguez sausage platter), and two desserts. We were able to take home the leftover couscous, which was very generous, in a neat doggy bag. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.
