15/07/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Lô. My order was incomplete. When I went back to the counter to simply point out that some items were missing, I was met by a particularly unpleasant employee whose attitude almost made me feel like I was trying to steal or lie. Being treated with such suspicion when all you're asking for is completely unacceptable. The most shocking thing was the intervention of a manager, probably the director, who adopted the same contemptuous and arrogant attitude instead of calming the situation and looking for a solution. No sense of customer service, no self-reflection. Making mistakes with an order can happen. However, treating customers with such a lack of respect is unacceptable. If customer service and sales are a burden for them, perhaps it's time to rethink their approach.

14/07/2026: A very bad experience at the McDonald's in Saint-Lô. I paid over €70, but when I got home, I realized it wasn't my order at all. I called immediately to report the mistake, but despite the amount and the fact that the error was theirs, they offered no compensation whatsoever. The manager was very haughty.

A beautiful, cozy interior paired with the kind and generous welcome by Maxence and Greg at reception, who made us feel right at home and gave us recommendations of what to see and do here. Delicious local products like butter and apple juice are served and are just one of the ways sustainability is prioritized here. Thank you so much for everything, merci beaucoup!

It makes you want to come back. Thank you to them for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and motivation. They deserve to be rewarded for their work; they are so deserving. I highly recommend it. The food is fresh and delicious. (Special mention to the cooks—they are the best! 10/10, nothing to say, they are the best, they are champions! Thank you to them too!)

21/05/2026: Restaurant meal: What a disappointment! As long-time customers, the change of chef is going to be difficult. Lunching with friends, we didn't find the same quality, creativity, or generous portions. We also missed the chef's presence, his willingness to interact with customers and share those enjoyable moments of conviviality. It's good that there's a new owner, and it's difficult to take over from a chef with such high-quality professional experience. They should at least try to draw inspiration from what made Château du Bost so renowned. We'll wait for future reviews before deciding whether to return. Best of luck nonetheless.

08/04/2026: An incredible, magical place, a haven of peace. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms (iron and ironing board, bathroom and shoe kit, refrigerator, microwave). A delicious breakfast, including gluten-free options. The restaurant is extremely good. Warm welcome. In short, I highly recommend it for business trips and romantic getaways.

03/04/2026: Excellent stay, very comfortable bedding, very spacious room, prepared with care and attention (much more so than some well-known chains), I highly recommend it; and a generous breakfast with homemade products

27/07/2026: The food is decent, though not exceptional. The service is fairly quick, but some of the waiters and waitresses could learn to smile. The atmosphere is that of a small-town café, but the terrace is very inviting on market days.

23/07/2026: We arrived as a group of five at 8 pm, ordered a drink each, and decided to order only two pizzas. After ordering, we were politely informed that we would be charged €5 for each person who didn't eat. I find this unacceptable and a complete lack of customer service. We politely declined dessert or coffee, which would likely have cost more than €15. We will definitely not be coming back here.
