27/01/2026: Excellent! An unbeatable service, they prepared a splendid assorted menu for us, everything was delicious, with a free glass of champagne included, fantastic! The service and friendliness of the owner and his daughter (?) were incredible. If I return to Maisons-Laffitte – and it is very likely –, I will definitely repeat. The price is more than reasonable.

25/01/2026: €35 per person for a group of 10, and we were served mini bowls of salad, tough and salty prawns, bland pasta with meat, a cheese pastry (almost no cheese), excessively salty diced fries, and some chunks of boiled potatoes in their skins. The only thing that was good was an apple pie for dessert. To top it all off, the waiter was saying, "Better food than in Spain!" My wife had cramps that night and was still suffering the next morning, possibly from the prawns. If we go back to Maisons Laffitte, we won't be going back to this place—expensive and poor quality food!

17/05/2026: Simply perfect. Home-style cooking with good ingredients; the chuck roast is divine, the pizzas are generously topped. A warm and friendly welcome, a relaxed and calm atmosphere, and affordable prices – a must-visit in Guidel.

15/05/2026: While passing through the region, we stopped for a meal at La Villa Toscane. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, the welcome was very warm, and the meal was excellent. Thank you for this delicious meal.

26/05/2026: Huge respect to the whole team working in this heat. The atmosphere was fantastic, the team was energetic and in great spirits (it certainly gave us a good laugh). I'll be back with friends to enjoy the terrace.

25/05/2026: We visited this restaurant today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience regarding the wine service. We ordered a specific bottle of champagne by pointing to it on the wine list, but later realised we had been served a different bottle that was cheaper than the one we selected. When the bill arrived, however, we were charged for the more expensive champagne originally indicated on the menu. When we pointed this out to the staff, there was no apology or proper acknowledgment of the mistake. I also overheard one of the servers swearing afterwards, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable and unprofessional. I genuinely hope this was an honest mistake, but the lack of apology or concern about the situation left a very poor impression.

07/04/2026: The bread is very good. The tartine (open-faced sandwich) for the lunch special is quite small. The large salads are very generous. You can eat in despite the limited space. Expect to pay between €10.50 and €12.50 for the lunch special.

25/05/2026: The welcome was professional, and the setting charming, but I had booked a vegetarian course that I didn't get—fish instead of chicken was all that was available. Some ingredients were missing: for example, fresh ginger was replaced with powder, deglazing with pastis was replaced with Suze, and the fruit salad didn't include fruit listed. In short: The prestige of the course didn't live up to the Ducasse "brand." It gave the impression that many aspects, including the ingredients, were chosen on the cheap, which is surprising given the price of the course and the prestige of the establishment.

03/05/2026: The slight misunderstanding with the reservation was resolved very quickly by the team, who were determined to treat us like royalty. And all this on May 1st! I highly recommend this place. Very good food. Excellent value for money.

22/04/2026: I went on a bad day. No cook in the kitchen, a royal couscous with only one meat option and no merguez sausage. Dessert was the bare minimum. The service was sluggish while the owner was constantly on the phone. The restaurant was empty, which is a bad sign. It's a shame, I'd heard good things.
