05/10/2026: The calf's head was excellent, however the duck burger was very dry and lacked flavor compared to the one I discovered 9 years ago... no peppers, just mushrooms stuck on top, which was a shame because I was expecting a real treat. To finish, we ordered two tarte tatins and were equally disappointed: the pastry was practically nonexistent and barely cooked, and the cream had a sour taste. We were looking forward to returning after 9 years, and what a disappointment! The service was fine.

05/10/2026: Loved this very nice bistro with their traditional French home-cooked menu offerings. Enjoyed the French Onion soup, which was light and flavorful without the cheese melted on the top. The grilled Veal Kidneys entree was delicious, a very authentic French cuisine prepared perfectly. Wish I had room for dessert, next time! Merci!

08/06/2026: Very nice hotel, good food, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

29/05/2026: Disappointing! We had booked for a group because the setting is nice. Upon arrival, we were seated for 40 minutes without being offered an aperitif, despite the sweltering heat. A couple arrived after us, and they were served before us. The two-person staff was clearly overwhelmed by the number of customers. We left. No one came to apologize. Very disappointed. Cold welcome, zero service, zero friendliness... I do not recommend it.

03/10/2026: Truly exceptional setting, EXCELLENT cuisine from appetizers to main courses and desserts – high-quality, sophisticated dishes bursting with flavor! The service was absolutely top-notch, from the waiters/waitresses to the bartender; it was so pleasant to be served with such cheerfulness and friendliness 👯👯‍♂️ A 10/5 without hesitation, thank you to the whole team for this magical moment ✨

18/06/2026: We gave a gift box to my father and his girlfriend. They called this week to book, and were told it was too late because they were closing soon and fully booked until the closing date. What a disappointment!

06/08/2026: Lunch for three on August 4, 2026. A huge congratulations to this charming restaurant, which not only has the merit of being open in August but can also be described as gourmet with excellent value for money. Everyone is delightful. The presentation of the dishes is exquisite. A huge ribeye steak served pre-carved and placed on a small warming tray, Périgord salad with delicious foie gras and subtle seasoning... All for under €100! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

10/09/2026: Truly exceptional! The starter buffet, the main course, the desserts, the service, the welcome—you will be missed by many. Take care, and I hope to see you again in the future. My only regret, and it's a big one, is that they are closing permanently on September 25, 2026. It's sold in a few days. The only thing to hope for is that the new owners manage to do the same. To be continued.

31/08/2026: The best cafe with extremely tasty coffee. The atmosphere is unmatched, music is excellent and I enjoyed every second I spent in this bar. I can't possibly describe how wonderful and kind the staff is. We visited this cafe every day of our stay in Bordeaux and met both the owner and waiter who also works here. Both were incredible; a joyful waiter gave us many recommendations which were truly worth a visit, shared some wonderful music recommendations with us and was overall so extremely welcoming and kind, such a great man. The owner was also the kindest and most welcoming man, who even played a chess game with us (and won, he is really good!). We were truly sad we had to leave and would come back to Bordeaux (all the way from Slovenia) just to experience a morning coffee in this outstanding bar again. Thank you so much for this experience, hands down best bar in the world.

12/09/2026: Lovely terrace and friendly service. The quality of the food was uneven: the pasta was good, but the pizzas had too much cheese, which overpowered the other ingredients and made them too greasy.

10/09/2026: Response to the owner of the pigeons, who are nonetheless from La Ciotat: you excel at shifting blame, I must admit! For your information, we were indeed exasperated at the end of the meal, as my father, a 78-year-old man suffering from lumbago, waited standing for fifteen minutes to pay his bill. As for me, I was experiencing the onset of heat-induced light eruption. Your bartender's complaint: he's "retired" is astounding. Just like your bad faith; you never smiled once, you were factually unpleasant and haughty. In contrast, the blonde waitress is lovely. Perhaps you should reflect on your own behavior instead of systematically responding to all your comments in a defensive and aggressive manner, instead of reversing roles and portraying yourself as the victim. Finally, my brother is in the industry, having studied to be a chef at the Bonneveine school; I was helping him in the dining room. Unless I'm mistaken, the fundamentals of this profession are quite simple: a smile, friendliness, respect, and a sense of service. Qualities that, unfortunately, you lack. Their motto must be: "Every day, there's a sucker who gets up, you just have to catch them." There were three of us adults; however, we didn't order three children's menus! Seriously, four slices of potato and half a flank steak for 26 euros a plate! As for my father, half a plate of mussels and a handful of fries, the same as me. The brunette waitress with the shaved head was particularly unpleasant and pushy when taking our order, creating a feeling of discomfort. The man at the bar was disrespectful to the customers. Finally, 9 euros for dessert is simply outrageous; you're not a fine dining establishment.

26/09/2026: I had the most wonderful Tea Time experience at Le Dali! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the incredibly kind and attentive staff to the fantastic tea and delicious pastries. And the setting is simply breathtaking — such a beautiful and elegant place. I enjoyed every moment and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a truly special afternoon tea. ✨☕️🧁

25/08/2026: Very disappointing considering its reputation. The traditional baguette was rock hard: you'd better have strong teeth to eat it! The cookies were frankly nothing special, and the same goes for the Florentine. The service didn't exactly improve things either: the cashier wasn't particularly welcoming. In short, a place that's vastly overrated in my opinion, probably due to its popularity with foreign tourists. And the prices seem clearly geared towards this clientele. For this price point, I expected much higher quality.
