31/05/2026: The lady who served was very friendly, the meat was very good and well grilled, however, they didn't bring you bread, and I found it expensive. A meat skewer for 20 euros?? I don't think I'll go back.

15/05/2026: The staff were welcoming and friendly. The pepper-crusted steak was incredible, and the portion was generous in both quality and quantity. However, the ribs are a bit pricey per kilo, which is a shame for those with a big appetite!

10/05/2026: Nice atmosphere and music that isn't too loud. The service was friendly and spoke English for our party. They had a menu in English as well. The food has generous portions and seems very fresh. My friend tried the lamb and I had a bit of his and it was so tender and delicious that I wished I ordered it but my beef skewers were also delicious. I would eat here again.

Without a doubt, the best couscous I’ve had in the city. Mehdi made the experience even more special with his warm welcome and genuine hospitality. Whether it’s for a couple’s dinner, a business lunch, or any occasion, this place is a perfect choice. And don’t leave without trying the traditional Algerian desserts paired with the green tea, the perfect ending in the cute little french terasse that the restaurant offers.

12/04/2026: For a restaurant near the Old Port, the prices are reasonable, the terrace is on a quiet side street, and the food is good, made with quality ingredients. The staff is truly welcoming and friendly; even the chef comes to chat and serve us. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant. I highly recommend it. When we return to Marseille—and we will return—we will definitely go back. Thank you to the whole team!

16/05/2026: The place lacks attention to cleanliness. It would even be a convenient place to have breakfast outdoors during the summer, if it weren't for the pigeons that are happily climbing onto the tables, and no staff member seems to bother to keep them away or keep the situation under control. A decidedly unpleasant aspect for a bar that serves food and drinks.

11/05/2026: I ordered two frappes and they gave me two lattes with a few ice cubes + one cookie = €17. I went back to complain that it wasn't a frappe and they told me yes, that's what a frappe is supposed to be. It's hard to earn enough money to pay for this 🤌🏻

15/05/2026: A very bad experience at Auberge 22. The restaurant charged me for a 1.5 kg meat dish that I never ate. At the time, at the register, I didn't notice the mistake and paid. When I realized it, I went back to the manager to check the bill. She acknowledged the error but didn't even know how to issue a refund to my bank card. She went to ask the waiter for money, then completed the refund with small coins… a very unprofessional situation. I advise customers to carefully check their bill before paying, because you can end up paying for dishes you didn't eat.
