31/05/2026: The welcome wasn't very pleasant. We waited a long time for our order to be taken. The woman was unpleasant, and the young gentleman was really unfriendly, even disrespectful. The older gentleman was more polite. But overall, the staff was rather unhelpful. It's a real shame because the food is good. The daily special isn't very varied; it's mainly the sauce that changes. Because of the bad atmosphere, we won't be back.

16/05/2026: A delightful surprise! We stayed at the Hôtel de Bourgogne, located just above the hotel, and had dinner at a random spot nearby, a no-frills brasserie frequented by locals. It was a pleasure to find refined cuisine made with quality ingredients: delicious and very fresh white fish and shrimp rillettes, foie gras and snails presented in an original way, and a piece of meat with Roquefort sauce. The classic desserts were well executed. A great find!

18/04/2026: One of my favorite restaurants in Alsace 👑 I discovered it through the lobster menu, which is absolutely delicious, but I always enjoy going back to Benoît & Thiébaut 😍 The grocery section is a huge plus, as you can buy exceptional products like Bordier butters 🧈

09/03/2026: The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy 😊. Beyond all that, you can easily discuss dietary restrictions with the owners (which isn't something you see everywhere!). They are very attentive and genuinely care about their customers' well-being; they will make sure you're happy, and believe me, they mean it... I salute them and thank them from the bottom of my heart for allowing my wife to enjoy going out again.

28/05/2026: Hello. We've had lunch there before without any problems. Today the food was fine, as usual, however the server was very unpleasant. The welcome was icy, and the answers to our questions were very curt... Madam, you should find another line of work! In any case, we won't be back.

19/05/2026: The menu focuses on seafood and the freshest fish, which delights many of my friends, but isn't my personal favorite. However, the rest of the food is really good. The setting is pleasant, the staff efficient, and the chef is always friendly and available to greet our table.

13/04/2026: It's cold in the restaurant, and we got yesterday's pancakes for breakfast, which were cold and stiff. It was the worst experience. It was so hard to reheat a pancake and serve it cold, it was rubbery and tasteless. And the whipped cream was from a siphon. Mascara, stay away from this place as much as possible.

28/02/2026: A warm welcome with a smile. Very generous portions, and we have hearty appetites. As big pasta lovers, we thoroughly enjoyed the original and delicious sauces. We also recommend the desserts: the chocolate or lemon mousse and the Scottish dessert, which are the perfect finishing touch. The service was very efficient, with a kind word or a joke. We'll be back!

07/05/2026: A great experience! This restaurant, with its warm and family-friendly atmosphere, is a real find. You'll find yourself in a cozy chalet with well-equipped apartments and friendly, attentive owners. Ideally located in the village, in the heart of the mountains. As for the crêperie, the galettes were delicious. I highly recommend it.

13/02/2026: We booked by phone that morning, but even on the phone, the owner wasn't very welcoming. The reception was lukewarm at best, and after two or three unpleasant remarks, we decided to leave this small establishment. I suppose all the positive reviews correspond to the days when the owner is friendly!
