01/10/2026: This place is awful. For those nostalgic for the old Banana Café, prepare to be disappointed. The staff is terrible, with no respect except for a few. I'm very disappointed to see this place lose its identity. I advise you to experience it for yourself to understand my opinion; obviously, I'm addressing this to those who knew the real Banana Café.

10/07/2026: The shaded terrace is lovely for a drink. However, the two waiters were very unpleasant! And not efficient at all! They didn't take our order, we had to go to the bar, and they brought our drinks to the wrong table (there were 5 tables occupied). ⬇️ Unfriendly remarks... In short... just okay.

22/09/2026: Lise is the best bartender, she manages all her cocktails perfectly, she's incredible, and on top of that, she's very funny and sociable with customers. She remains the best in her field, I wish her success in life!

03/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic! Pleasant, varied, and delicious. The gluten-free buckwheat crepes are a great option for both lunch and dessert (only traces of gluten). Don't hesitate to order two dishes if you have a big appetite like me! 😁

14/09/2026: Arrived here on 9/13/26 when Orio was triumphant at the rowing event in San Sebastian. Huge matter of pride for the community. Wonderful atmosphere and food, service, and Orio is magical. A favorite on the Camino.

06/09/2026: Friendly service, delicious food. I had a Joujeh bowl to go and it was prepared quickly. The portion was generous including chicken, rice, grilled aubergine purée and a small side salad. Everything was super tasty. The prices are reasonable.

18/08/2026: A good Iranian restaurant decorated with a lot of history, offering beautiful, flavorful dishes and impeccable service. There's no menu except above the registers, so some dishes aren't priced, meaning you should expect to pay more.

26/09/2026: I had a very good time at this establishment. I came here by chance because it was right next to my hotel. It was late, around 1 a.m., and I was surprised to find them still serving dinner and drinks until that hour. There were lots of people, a very good atmosphere, and Sarah, who was serving, was really pleasant and took great care of me. I really enjoyed it and I recommend you go there.

A truly wonderful experience at Le Général, thanks in particular to the excellent service. ✨ Special mention to the staff at the entrance, whose professionalism, courtesy, and dedication to service deserve to be highlighted. You immediately sense a team that is attentive, elegant, and humane. It's sometimes the little touches, the ones that aren't mandatory, that truly make a hotel experience worthwhile. 26/09/2026: We had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate very well. No complaints whatsoever. Beylee enjoyed her water bowl and the cuddles.

20/09/2026: Excellent! We arrived around 6 pm for a drink. We were taken care of as soon as we arrived; the staff was absolutely lovely! The lady with the dark hair who took our orders was simply amazing! In terms of price and atmosphere, it's a 10/10! I highly recommend it! :)

09/09/2026: Tonight's experience wasn't great. I was disappointed with the dish I chose because the veal was overcooked and lacked seasoning. What a shame.

12/08/2026: A table of nine people seemed too complicated for the waitress to handle... Right from the aperitif, drinks were mixed up: a whiskey for the person who had ordered port and a port and Coke for the person who had ordered whiskey and Coke. Well, to err is human... Ordering the main courses was a bit difficult, but in the end, the dishes arrived without any problems. Then came dessert. Only six people ordered dessert: three had a "café gourmand" (a dessert coffee). We each ordered a Dame Blanche (a dessert with two spoons), one scoop of ice cream, and three scoops of ice cream. The ice cream flavors had been mixed up. The three scoops of ice cream were sent back because of a flavor mix-up, but after a 35-minute wait, we had to go and ask for them. The waitress, acting in bad faith, told her employer that we were giving her false orders. I don't know what the point was for us, since we received neither an apology from the owner nor a discount on the bill. Despite our annoyance, especially when we heard the waitress say that we were deliberately misleading her, we didn't ask for any discount. However, we won't be returning to this place anytime soon, even though the food was relatively good.

22/09/2026: A wonderful family-run restaurant with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a really interesting wine tasting, which is a great way to discover new flavors and enjoy the evening. The dishes are simple but absolutely delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. You can really feel the heart and personal touch behind the place. A lovely spot that makes you want to come back and bring your loved ones!
