04/05/2026: Honestly, a fantastic place! 🔥 The food is truly excellent. The dishes are superb, well-cooked, beautifully presented, and above all, made with quality ingredients. It's flavorful, generous, and you can tell it's homemade with care. The staff is top-notch, incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. You quickly feel at ease; they take great care of their customers, which is truly appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm, perfect for a pleasant time, whether with family or friends. The service is quick, the portions are generous—nothing to complain about. In short, a very good experience; I highly recommend it! 🔥👍

16/05/2026: My wife and I found this place by chance and went there for a week to Relax. We were both very tired and needed somewhere to recharge the batteries. This place was a god send. First all the staff from the reception desk to the chamber maids were cheerful, had a smile and did everything they could to help. The hotel is going through a facelift and you can see money is getting invested. Our room was great and we slept well every night. We were half board so breakfast and dinner were included. The breakfast was one of the best provided I have seen, they had everything and was very copious. The evening meal was a carte for us that changed every 2 days and there was the main carte. I never ate the same thing twice and every plate went back empty! I took great pleasure cleaning off the sauce with the bread which was delicious. The staff in the restaurant were excellent and spoke various languages. We will be going back with my in-laws because I know my mother in-law will love it. Then there was the spa which was awesome and after a fabulous dinner going into the hamman always helps digestion. The jacuzzi however is better the next morning. My wife had some really good treatments while I went to golf which is next to the hotel. Brilliant Happy days all round!. Thank you to the staff again and can't wait to go back.

28/04/2026: Rather disappointed for a 4-star hotel ✨. My mother, who used to come here regularly, noticed a real change. Upon arrival, there was no restaurant, even though after a long journey we just wanted to shower, relax, and have a quiet meal at the hotel. We had to go out again to get food. No Wi-Fi, no pool table... When we arrived in the room, there was only a sliver of toilet paper and three tissues. As for the service, there was very little empathy from the reception staff. At breakfast, there weren't enough plates; all the guests complained, and we had to use bowls because no one came to help. It's a shame they reheated the crepes, which were more like potato chips, and the pancakes, which were hard around the edges. This needs improvement for a 4-star hotel.

26/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The terrace was sunny and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. The service was impeccable, and the complimentary amuse-bouche was a lovely touch. The chef prepares excellent cuisine. The dishes were beautifully presented, and there wasn't too long a wait at lunchtime. We will definitely be back!

05/09/2026: Excellent cuisine. The servers are attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is rather intimate, but we had a good laugh, as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our children. This is a restaurant that deserves to be better known.

20/09/2026: The Baeckeoffe was delicious, generous, and meant to be shared, making the meal even more convivial. A perfect inn for hikers passing through!

04/09/2026: Fantastic views of the castle and valleys! Beautiful, well-maintained property with both a self-service café and a restaurant. Reservations are recommended for the restaurant! Free parking and a great starting point for hikes, including to the castle.

25/09/2026: It had been two years since our last visit, and it's still fantastic. The mussels à la Normande are truly excellent. We were there last year and returned this year, and it was just as we remembered... absolutely delicious. Oysters and mussels à la Normande. A must-try if you're ever in Cabourg.

08/10/2026: The service was incredible; they do everything to make you happy. However, the food was a complete disaster. Their salmon tagliatelle was disgusting—soaked in water, with zero flavor. I wanted to fight the chef, shove his garbage in his face, and make the pasta myself. It's ridiculous that I can make something a thousand times better at home. The quiche was just a pre-made frozen one.

21/07/2026: The setting is lovely, the staff very professional, but unfortunately, the menu didn't quite win us over. Some dishes lacked flavor and the flavor combinations seemed poorly executed. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also very basic. Overall, we still had a pleasant evening, but for a Michelin-starred restaurant, we expected a more memorable experience, and there are better options available.

16/07/2026: It was inedible. Look at my other reviews, I NEVER leave negative reviews, but this time, I couldn't finish my plate even though: I hadn't eaten for 24 hours, I'd been drinking so I was extremely hungry, and I usually eat anything and everything—food is food, you can eat anything. But not here. First of all, they took my payment before serving me, which I don't mind, and it saves me from having to queue to pay, but restaurants don't usually do that, so now I understand why. I ordered fish and chips, I paid €17 for all the ingredients to be processed. Again, food is food, so who cares? But the fish and chips sauce had clearly gone bad; it was yellow and extremely acidic. It hadn't been in the fridge for days. The fish was bad; it didn't taste like fish, only like the batter was fried (and the batter itself didn't taste like batter, just like fried food). The inside was WHITE, like a sheet of A4 paper that's been UV-treated—I'm sure it would shine brightly in a nightclub. The fries, well, they were frozen and just overcooked, but edible. The lettuce leaves were okay too, since they were lettuce leaves. But then there was the dressing, which was probably from a tube, and it was incredibly acidic. I know it's supposed to be acidic, but even my tongue was questioning it. So there you have it. I was very sad because I was very hungry, and it was the first time I'd ever been afraid of a sauce.

07/10/2026: We had a reservation for one, as we had a movie showing starting at 7:30 pm. We informed the waiter. At 6:50 pm, no one had taken our order... So we asked a waiter who had already taken the orders for the two tables that arrived before us and the two tables that arrived after us. We were finally served at 7:20 pm. We had a request with our order: that the crust of one of the pizzas not be overcooked. Of the three pizzas we ordered, this one was the most cooked and therefore hard. It wasn't a very good experience.

06/10/2026: Excellent welcome, quality service. We appreciated their gesture of goodwill – one of the dishes arrived late, it wasn't charged and they also offered a free drink.

08/08/2026: What a wonderful evening we had dining together with our little dog! The welcome was very warm and professional. The cuisine was delicate and refined, worthy of a Michelin star, all at a reasonable price for a starred restaurant. Absolutely flawless. We'll be back!
