28/05/2026: Super friendly service, good food, fantastic atmosphere (exactly what I wanted). It was sparsely populated at 1 p.m., which was pleasant. They didn't have the paella I wanted, so I opted for the excellent fish and chips (fried fish fillet, chips, salad). They brought me a large carafe of water without me even asking. The coffee was superb. The bill was so low, I could hardly believe it. That left more for the tip.

27/11/2025: We had a lovely stay at this inn on the Loue River, located in a small medieval village. This tastefully decorated inn offers a relaxed, family atmosphere in a peaceful, natural setting. We were also delighted by the generous portions of local cuisine made with quality ingredients. The truffade and the cornet de Murat were excellent.

11/11/2025: Hello, We tried the restaurant for a family meal. The dishes were very tasty, beautifully presented, and welcoming. I personally loved the braised foie gras with its mushroom sauce, as well as the excellent sweetbreads, thank you! 🌞 The service was attentive and friendly. We would gladly return.

12/05/2026: The welcome was adequate, and the service professional. The prawns were good, served with fries, carrots, mushrooms, and fennel. The only slight drawback: the "gourmet coffee" was lacking in generosity. It was too light: a chocolate verrine and a meringue, lacking the visual appeal to end the meal on a pleasant note!

03/06/2026: A very disappointing experience at Le Moulin à Vent. The welcome was cold from the moment we arrived, and the atmosphere was far from welcoming. The cuisine is supposed to be Japanese-inspired, with a €39 set menu, but it falls far short of the advertised fine dining. The asparagus starter was particularly disappointing: the lemon was far too acidic, and there weren't even any asparagus tips on the plate. The dishes remained basic, lacking any real finesse or creativity. Since the chef was alone in the kitchen, everything was served assembly-line style: starters for all the diners, and the same for the main courses and desserts. It felt more like an organized canteen than a proper restaurant experience. The value for money was clearly disappointing. I do not recommend it.

I think the owner was intrusive, constantly asking for feedback every three minutes, which made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal! The toilets were extremely dirty! We thought we were going to have a relaxing weekend, but instead, we had a terrible one. I definitely don't recommend it! Despite everything, thank you to the waitress.

23/04/2026: Looking for a nice place to have a drink, a local recommended this unique spot. The owner, Franck, and his waiter gave me a warm welcome. The place, located on a small pedestrian street, is superb. I had a great time chatting with them and the other customers. Go there!

24/03/2026: At Café Lune, we had a simple yet heartwarming experience. Franck, the owner, deeply touched us. His kindness was rare, genuine, and he offered excellent advice. You immediately sense that he loves people and enjoys sharing with them. People talk, exchange ideas, laugh… You feel wonderfully at ease there, like you're among friends. Honestly, we would come back to Sarlat just to visit him again. Thank you, Franck, for this truly enjoyable moment. And see you soon if you come to the Basque Country :)

13/05/2026: This unassuming restaurant will delight couscous lovers! The welcome and service are impeccable. The menu is simple: a few tagines and, above all, couscous! The prices are very reasonable: expect to pay between €15 and €20 for couscous. But most importantly, the quality is excellent! The portions are also generous, and the waiter kindly offers extra semolina. It's not always busy, so it's recommended to book ahead as it's sometimes full. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant to all couscous lovers!

22/06/2026: A very bad experience. We waited over 20 minutes just for our drinks. The service was deplorable, the staff unwelcoming, and the atmosphere cold. The pizza wasn't anything special. I ordered a strawberry diabolo and was brought lemonade, with the simple explanation that they were out of syrup, without even asking if that was alright. We asked for hot sauce and were served oil. In the heat, seeing the owner carrying meat in a bag was rather unsettling. The only positive point was the cook, who at least had the courtesy to smile. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

07/05/2026: I went there twice and was disappointed both times by the poor service. And today I went to get a pizza and they refused my order for no reason (I didn't want to serve you). And the manager speaks rudely to customers and called me ill-mannered and disrespectful.

17/02/2026: We received a rather unusual welcome, with the remark that you can't pay by card, only cash. No problem. Glad this restaurant is open off-season. And what a surprise both the service and the food were. The 400-gram ribeye steak was excellent, and the canneloni was superb. Highly recommended - definitely go!

17/06/2026: The worst food i ever had from Paris. I ordered chicken soup and i recieved a water similar like a rasam, worst than rasam. The curry was another disaster that I should definitely mention. I will never recommend this place.

14/06/2026: On a work trip to Paris, I craved South Indian food and was delighted to find it. I tried their appam and chicken curry, requesting a spicy chicken curry and an egg appam. Both were spot on ! delicious and a great value for money.
