10/03/2026: Everything was excellent: the welcome, the service, the salad, the pizza. And the portions were generous. The waiter and waitress were charming. Kudos to the chefs! Okay, one minor complaint: the background music was a bit too much rap, rap... or rap (at least that evening).

25/03/2026: We both absolutely loved our evening at the Hippopotamus on Place Clichy (finally discovered it today!). Frédéric's warm welcome, his excellent advice, and his attentive service made our lives so pleasant! And the meal was delicious: top-quality meat surrounded by flavorful side dishes, and for dessert, delectable ice cream... Hugo joined his colleague in taking such good care of us. A huge thank you to you both! We'll definitely be back soon!!!

24/02/2026: Great. The servers are fantastic. My only problem is that it's way too noisy. However, the food is really delicious.

12/03/2026: I think I chose the wrong dish: peanut-fried chicken. I was expecting chicken breast, but it wasn't; it was more like a fatty, slightly knobby thigh. In short, I didn't like it, but my friend finished my entire plate and enjoyed it. I tried the vegetable noodles, which were good. The service is practically nonexistent: you order through an app, and they're just there to bring the food. The welcome is anything but warm.

12/03/2026: We stopped here for lunch today quite by chance, and honestly, what a lovely surprise! The food is excellent. Special mention goes to the staff: incredibly welcoming and truly attentive. It's a pleasure to stumble upon such a warm and friendly place. I recommend it 100%!

27/03/2026: My daughter and I arrived first, but we were served after other people who had been seated after us. We didn't order white wine or champagne, so we didn't receive the small olives served as an aperitif. I think there's a dress code for being served, as some of the other people in the restaurant that day were dressed appropriately. Perhaps it wasn't classy enough for them. Disappointed; clothes don't make the man, as they say. As for the meal, it met our expectations: original and decent.

25/03/2026: We went to this restaurant somewhat randomly, and it was a wonderful discovery. What I particularly missed was the friendliness and professionalism of the waiter, and of course, the house specialty: the frog leg dish. Moreover, it wasn't very busy that day, creating an intimate atmosphere that I loved.

21/03/2026: We are from Gujan-Mestras. Bad experience today. The oysters were good, as always. But we were poorly received and rushed. Yet we ate in 30 minutes! 1) We arrived at 12:30 pm and were assigned a supposedly last table in the shade. Okay, we accepted because we hadn't booked for two. But 5 minutes later, a couple arrived... they were given a table from the restaurant on the sunny terrace. Okay, okay... 2) We started eating... I still had oysters on my plate... and then they took my tray away. 3) My husband went inside to pay the bill, and they offered our seat to other people while I was still seated, waiting for my husband to return so he could get his glasses, car keys, and bag from under the table. I had to quickly clean everything up because people were sitting down at our table. I know they need to make the most of the terrace, but today I felt like I was in the way. I repeat, 30 minutes for 50 euros, that's reasonable, isn't it?

24/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! Great selection, atmosphere, and quality of service—bravo! Just one minor drawback: while some restaurants take half an hour between courses to serve you, here it's practically instantaneous. We ordered a cocktail to celebrate my wife's birthday and our meal... the appetizer arrived 5 minutes after the cocktail! So we started the appetizer and postponed enjoying our cocktail, which was perfect, by the way. That explains the 4/5 stars; it's a real shame. For a business traveler with limited time for meals, this restaurant is highly recommended!
