28/07/2026: A quick hydration break during our motorcycle ride. The terrace is pleasant and shaded. There's a parking lot right across the street, and the traffic is light enough to make it a relaxing moment.

10/05/2026: I had an absolutely perfect stay at the Hotel Les Fuschias in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home thanks to the exceptionally warm and attentive welcome from the hosts. I loved the hotel's authentic charm, its refined and intimate atmosphere, and the peaceful rooms, which allowed for true relaxation. The excellent bedding contributed greatly to the quality of my stay. Breakfast was delicious, featuring excellent local products, and served in a beautifully decorated room. I was also struck by the beauty of the garden, a true haven of peace and serenity. The location is ideal, right next to the restaurants and shops of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, making it easy to get around on foot. I sincerely wish I could have stayed longer, as the atmosphere of the place is so pleasant. A truly wonderful place to stay, and I will gladly return.

28/06/2026: Our feedback regarding Chamber d’Hôtes outside Toulouse “Maison du Poêlon” which was very disappointing too. At arrival the place was looking nothing like the Pictures shown on their website. The Garden in front of the entrance was totally neglected and wooden entrance gate was broken. We arrived at 17h00 as per the email I received but no one opened the door although we rang the bell several times. Unfortunately using the given phone numbers did not go through as we are connected to e-SIM and only realized recently that we needed to change the one number in the French Code. When we finally could enter the establishment, the host did not apologize but simply told us he was busy vacuuming and that the door bell was also broken 😏 The room I booked “Maxime” he claimed wasn’t for us but later realized it was actually reserved under our name. The room was spacious and clean but no drinking Water was provided and tissue box was empty. Breakfast which was included was rather poor and represented by host’s wife who was initially hardly saying two words but as she realized my husband was French speaking eventually engaged in a conversation. However the breakfast was not at all like the reviews had mentioned, by far not “exceptional” ! The poorest display of choices we’ve ever had as a Buffet. Their local cheeses were two slices of Emmentaler & two of Gruyère and the same applied to the rest of the display. Unfortunately we got the impression or it was rather blatant that it was a dream entered into 7 years ago to own & run a Guesthouse by the hosts Thierry & Gaelle which turned out to be anything but … of which only the obligation of some form of duty is left.

22/05/2026: A beautiful building, a spacious and tastefully decorated room. Excellent breakfast. However, limited check-in and check-out times, and a noisy room with no soundproofing. Above-average value for money.

18/06/2026: The place is magnificent, the apartment very clean and comfortable with a terrace overlooking the courtyard. The managers are lovely, helpful, and have a great sense of humor. Breakfast and dinner were very good, varied, and plentiful. A wonderful stay from June 9th to 13th, 2026. I highly recommend it! ❤️ Nadine

16/06/2026: Passing through the region, we booked a night's stay. The hotel is well-maintained and very clean. The air-conditioned room was functional and very quiet, opening onto a large terrace with armchairs. We received a warm welcome, and the breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Well done to the whole team!

12/08/2026: A nice concept with three bowl options (vegetable, pasta, cereal) and lots of fresh toppings. We had a bowl with couscous, four toppings, and a drink for €10, and a bowl with pasta, six toppings, a drink, and dessert for €12.50. Very good value and fresh!

28/08/2026: Great experience. I ate here with my mom and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The waiter was very friendly. I ordered the lamb chops and they were delicious; what's different is that there was plenty of meat on them. The fries were also really good. We were seated on the terrace, so there was a lot of foot traffic nearby, but it didn't bother us at all. The prices are very reasonable. In short, I highly recommend it.

26/09/2026: A wonderful moment of sharing and indulgence! The traditional hot chocolate is available in several cocoa percentages, allowing you to choose a rich and aromatic hot chocolate. The Peruvian dark chocolate tart, made to order, is truly excellent. The homemade ginger cookies are also a real treat. A must-try! 15/08/2026: Absolutely not friendly. The iced tea had stale mint leaves, which was a problem being pregnant. And it was impossible to order a portion of fries on the terrace, while it was possible just a few steps away… I must not have been impressed, a first for me 🤨! Go somewhere else; the other restaurants nearby are superb and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, unlike them.

06/09/2026: A fantastic find in Angoulême! I had a delicious Japanese curry. Everything was so good! The portions are really generous! You're going to love it! The service was incredible! Thank you to the host of the takeaway section for being so welcoming! The decor is absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend it because I'm sure you'll have a great time!

04/09/2026: No complaints whatsoever. We went several times over the course of a year and enjoyed sushi, maki, and ramen, always a delight. The atmosphere was pleasant, as was the staff, who helped me find a table where the chair fit perfectly (just a minor issue with the table and chair legs; it varies from chair to chair). Accessible restrooms. The only downside was that, even with almost no one there, we waited much longer for ramen than for sushi (two different lunchtimes).
