18/05/2026: Places like this are a joy to find. We arrived at the end of service and the person greeted us with a smile so we could have lunch: a homemade dish with fries just the way we like them, and a delicious dessert too. Very friendly. Highly recommended.

Once you get over the initial surprise of the smoke from the braziers (asthmatics beware!!!...), the old-fashioned farm-inn atmosphere is friendly and welcoming!
We have a soft spot for this place, which hosted us as a family for many years... We remember the perfect breakfasts back then...
09/03/2026: Excellent location for this family-run restaurant at the foot of the L'Hôtel slope. Everything is homemade. If you're looking for a typical mountain spot where you feel comfortable, eat well, and are served by attentive staff, you've come to the right place! Our go-to spot for a great fondue (and much more) every time we visit Praz-de-Lys, summer or winter.

09/04/2026: A fabulous swimming facility. Everything is clean and works well. The main indoor pool is generally heated to around 28 degrees, which is great if you are doing swim training. The staff are very friendly and helpful and can speak English if your French is limited. There is a good range of pricing options too ranging from single visit to season-long passes. Keep an eye on the opening times. Haven't used the outdoor pools so can't comment on these.
07/03/2026: A superb place to relax after a day of skiing. Clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Perfect. And thank you to the team for their warm welcome.

We get home and my daughter doesn't have her dessert or toy in her Happy Meal.
When several orders are being processed, the drive-thru employee says to her colleague, "Look, I have the impression the order isn't complete." A minute later, she hands me the bag, saying it's all good.
Well, no, actually!
And for one of the orders, the burger was cold...
04/07/2026: Great wifi. Food nice and hot. Wierd getting a hot chocolate where you get hot milk then mix in the chocolate powder yourself 🤔 all the McDonald's here in france arre always so amazingly clean, unlike the UK. Friendly staff. Toilets ok. Plenty parking. Would use again.

02/01/2026: A low-end "Parisian" brasserie. They sell frozen snails for €13 and don't even bother to heat them properly; we ended up with snails that were burning hot on the outside but cold on the inside… The bread for dipping seemed stale from the day before. Small glasses of Chardonnay for €6… Very disappointing.

05/05/2026: Great place! Great food and friendly staff. Been there 4 times during our stay in Paris. Highly recommend veal liver when they offer that.
29/04/2026: Food cooked to perfection. We had beaf liver, which had fine texture and very pleasant smell, kidney done as asked, exacty medium. Side to both was o'gratin. Simple but best I ever had. Appetizers were onion soup and snails, both, again absolutely uplifting.
Stuff friendly and professional.
I would absolutely recommend this place, if you are in vicinity.

04/02/2026: The location is peaceful, slightly removed from the town center and the port, nestled among the vineyards. The pool is lovely, and the hotel's small size makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Good breakfast.
12/09/2025: Calm, serenity, relaxation, pampering... a great little stay with attentive staff. All topped off with a delicious dinner from aperitif to dessert, accompanied by a house rosé (Mademoiselle Rose) and, as the saying goes: "baby Jesus in velvet pants." To be repeated

30/03/2026: The service and food were excellent, the young waitress was incredibly kind and polite. However, the owner's behavior was far less impressive: she lacked kindness, made inappropriate remarks, and was very aggressive. This will be my last time.
13/03/2026: We drove many kilometers in our camper van to come and eat and it's closed, please update your opening hours, it's not that complicated.
