It's very convenient as it's close to the station. They also have outdoor seating, creating a pleasant, open atmosphere. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay longer because of my train schedule. I ordered the "Beef Tartare au Couteau." The food came out quite quickly. It was probably seasoned with capers and herbs, and the balance was just right. The beef wasn't machine-ground, but hand-chopped ("au Couteau"), so the texture of the meat was firm and satisfying. I was very satisfied. I wish I had more time to linger. After returning my rental car at the train station, I had just under an hour before my train, so I walked here for lunch. It’s very conveniently located close to the station. I ordered the beef tartare au couteau. It came out quite quickly, which was perfect given my limited time. It was seasoned with what I believe were capers and herbs, and the balance was just right. The beef is chopped by hand with a knife rather than ground by machine, hence the “au couteau,” so it had a really meaty texture and was very satisfying to eat. I was very happy with my meal. I only wish I’d ​​had more time to stay and enjoy the place!

The bar/snack area is really great, especially for local high school students, and the restaurant is also very good. The service is always pleasant and efficient, and a special mention goes to the waiter who is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place, whether you're looking for a meal or simply a pleasant time in a friendly atmosphere.

13/05/2026: We stayed here during a long cycling tour (UK-France-Germany-Switzerland). Friendly staff, very nice room, and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner here, so I can't comment on that. The bike garage is a bit small if there are many cyclists staying overnight. However, the bikes can certainly be stored outside. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the famous Bénouville bridge and less than 10 km from Ouistreham.

Special mention goes to the magnificent light fixture on the ceiling around the counter, which adds a lovely touch to the decor. A truly wonderful experience; I highly recommend it!

02/09/2026: Not recommended. They don't know their cuts of meat and charge you the price of a ribeye steak for a sirloin tip, with a huge piece of sinew... The terrace is filled with smoke from other customers... In short, a shame.
